Cinque Terre
Cinque Terre is a string of five fishing villages perched high on the Italian Riviera (Liguria region), that until little time ago were only connected by mule tracks and accessible by rail or water. An ancient system of footpaths is still the best way to visit the five towns: Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. The breathtaking views of the harbours far below the wild, but hospitable coastline, along with the medieval fortresses and plentiful vines and vibrant colours, turn the visit in an unforgettable experience.
Recognized in 1997 by the Unesco Mankind's World Heritage, Cinque Terre is today a Protected Marine Area. In summer it is highly recommended to drive to La Spezia (about 3 hours away from both Cernobbio and Milan) and to visit the five villages by boat.

Franciacorta
Franciacorta, literally “short France”, is a hillside area covering Brescia with a longstanding winemaking tradition. This territory is often synonym of sparkling wine (Champagne method), not only cherished in Italy, but highly appreciated all over the world. Strada del Vino (“Road of Wine”) will lead you among winery cellars in spectacular sceneries. Among the most respected and remarkable producers of Franciacorta wines in the region are Bellavista and Ca' del Bosco. You can book a wine tasting tour and visit of the cellars at:

Milan
Milan is a cultural, modern and lively city, rich in beauty and artistic masterpieces.
The Duomo, or Cathedral, with its impressive marble façade and late-Gothic architectonic style, is the monumental symbol of this metropolis in Northern Italy. From its heights, reaching to the feet of the famous Madonnina statue, visitors can enjoy a unique panoramic view dominated by the church’s 135 pinnacles pointing towards the sky and reigning over the entire city. Next to the Duomo, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, a pedestrian street intersection covered by glass-vaulted arcades, is rich in historical restaurants and fashion boutiques, and characterized by a lovely mosaic floor. Milan is also known for being the Italian capital of fashion, finding its main expression in Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga, as well as one of the most famous cities for design, with its highest reference in Via Durini, where you could find all the most famous Italian design furniture brands.
One of the city’s prettiest neighbourhoods is Brera, coloured by characteristic shops and antique dealers. Pinacoteca of Brera encompasses a collection of the most important Italian works of art, counting remarkable masterpieces of Raffaello, Andrea Mantegna, Piero della Francesca and Caravaggio.
A visit of the Cenacolo of Leonardo da Vinci (the “Last Supper”) is highly recommended and should be reserved in advance.
Bergamo Upper Town
Bergamo is known to be divided into two cities: the modern and dynamic lower city “Bergamo Bassa” on the one hand and the high and ancient city “Bergamo Alta”, with its picturesque and enchanting historic old town dominating on the territory below, on the other hand.
Bergamo Alta is surrounded by its walls. Taking a walk along them you can fully enjoy the iconic view of Bergamo Alta landscape. The town is perched on a hill and has retained its centuries-old Medieval and Renaissance appearance that can be found in its squares and cathedral, as well as in its historical buildings. Once in the city, you will be welcomed by a monumental entrance framed by the beautiful fountain of Sant’Agostino, which dates back to the 16th-century.
