Casey Isaacson
Maid of Honor
It has been a long time since they’ve taken a picture together they both like. Casey is Leigh’s little sister, co-founder of Dig, and alter-ego. She’s a design wizard and an extraordinary mom to the sweetest puppy in the world. If she tries to pass off her Maid of Honor speech to you, kindly ignore her. Ask Casey how badly she wants to meet Tina Fey, anything about squirrels, and how to find someone you really Dig.
Sofia Van Raan
Bridesmaid
Refusing to conform to norms, Sofia and Leigh attended a high school Cowboys and Indians party as girl cows instead (#feminism). These ladies met in drama class at Beaver Country Day School, they've been on (failed) mission trips to save sea turtles in Costa Rica and to build houses/water systems in Puerto Rico, and they lived together on Martha's Vineyard one crazy summer. Ask them about their i-hop-hop dance, working at a rib joint as a vegetarian/while keeping kosher, and the Dresden Dolls.
Audrey Snare
Bridesmaid
If you're going to take a picture with Audrey, kindly remind her to keep her eyes open or ask someone nearby for an assist. Leigh and Audrey went to Beaver Country Day School together from 6-12th grade (lifers) AND went to Syracuse University together. Audrey was usually tucked away overnighting at the architecture school, but she would sometimes be seen biking through the 5 feet of snow. Ask them about Poosh, their GSPs, what happens when you scratch Audrey’s arm, and the epic Isaacson family gift given to Audrey for her graduation (and why all of the Boston firefighters know her now).
Lizzie Hudson
Bridesmaid
From a bungee jump harness to shiny pants to a white water rafting helmet, Lizzie is always ready to suit up for an adventure with Leigh. They performed as backup dancers together, kind of hitchhiked across Botswana, and met baby ostriches and cheetahs as they toured Southern Africa together when studying abroad in Namibia. Ask her about their Spice Girls homework, fat cakes, trapeze lessons, and their parents’ coordinated surprise on the plane.
Alix D'Angelo
Bridesmaid
Fun fact! This was one of Adam's Tinder photos. I guess it was love at first swipe with you too, Alix! Alix is Adam's sister, an Italian magician in the kitchen, and the mother of one of the sweetest tiniest little pupper gurrss in the whole wurld, Honey. Ask her about fostering puppers, how salty pasta water should be, and the genius of Boz Scaggs. Note: if you're an Isaacson with nosebleeds, seriously go talk to Alix.
Cousin Layla
AKA Lurp
Lurp is always extraordinarily happy to see you, but she has a special level of love reserved for her mom Casey, grandparents Keith and Jennifer Isaacson, Aunt Leigh, and soon to be uncle-in-law Adam. Inventor of the courtesy lick, she’s usually polite unless there are shiny reflections around (then move out of her way). If she blesses you with one of her famous leg hugs, you will have good luck for one year. As world traveler, comfy snuggler, and Dig inspiration, Layla melts hearts and steals kisses everywhere she goes.
Aaron Baer-Harsha
Best Man
Partners-n-crime since Pre-K, these two go together like lamb and tuna fish. Aaron and Adam grew up around the corner from each other and have spent more time together than what is probably medically recommended. Aaron is the one person Adam willingly admits can cook better than him. He's known for being an extreme ball hog in NBA Hangtime and possibly the only human on earth that has seen Big Daddy more than Adam. Ask Aaron to choose between swiss cake rolls and star crunch and enjoy the dilemma.
Rajeev Sadhwani
Groomsman
Rajeev is the K-Ci to Adam's JoJo. These two have been friends since high school and you can spot how Rajeev has rubbed off on Adam along the way. He can be credited (blamed?) for Adam's obsession with sneakers, fantasy basketball, and The Wire. They have been known to hit the stage for breathtaking duets when karaoke and alcohol are mixed. Ask Rajeev about Ray the hibachi master of disaster and what it's like to be wrong about Crossroads by Bone Thugs n Harmony.
Jay Weisman
Groomsman
These two met at LSU where they became frat bros, roommates, and SAMCRO 1%-ers. Jay and Adam communicate solely in It's Always Sunny in Philadephia and movie quotes and it's super enjoyable for everyone around them. If you need help on the dance floor for any reason- Jay's the man to talk to. Ask him about the thinker pose and what it's like being a Detroit Red Wings fan growing up in Chicago.
Andrew Pancamo
Groomsman
Oh-well-HAP! These two cousins were once thought to be twins and quite literally grew up together. Andrew and Adam spent many weekends crushing junk food and playing video games with the Country Grammar album on repeat. They were bunkmates during their stint in Houston for Katrina where they created their own language based on Aqua Teen Hunger Force quotes. Andrew’s a traveling troubadour who slaps the bass big time. Ask him about Andrew-isms, the 37 ice cream cone vacation, and his epic performance at Fogo de Chao.
Ryan Socia
Groomsman
Ryan (aka Toast) is Adam's cousin, roommate, and co-commissioner of the greatest fantasy basketball league ever created. Toast and Adam both hold membership cards to the Marengo squad, Grandpa's Gang and the Trashy TV Troupe. These two spend a majority of their time at their respective offices asking the other what they think of the latest Woj bomb. Ask Ryan about the joerena and his Mark McGwire jersey.
Peter Lundberg
Groomsman
Thanks to Peter, Adam finally got a brother! Outside of Leigh, Peter is the only other Boston sports fan Adam is cool being associated with. Even if he didn't marry Adam's sister, these two would still be brothers bound by their love of MTV's The Challenge. Ask Peter about Cara Maria's etsy account.
Jordan Daniels
Usher
Adam and Jordan were brought together by a love of the NBA... and I guess his wife and Adam's bf, Kate, had something to do with it too. Jordan came from North Carolina and brought with him a wealth of beer and bourbon knowledge, which he is still working on getting Adam to understand. Their interests aligned as they tried to (unsuccessfully) start a basketball blog solely to get media passes to Pelicans games. Ask Jordan to say anything mean at all because we don't think its physically possible.
Max Pancamo
Usher

Though Max is Adam's youngest cousin, he has managed to amass the longest list of nicknames over the years. Max (aka Egg Head, aka Egg, aka Eggan, aka Meggan, aka Eggward, aka Egg Louganis) unfortunately had to deal with Adam and Andrew when they thought they were too cool to play halo with this youngblood. Lessons were learned all around as Max quickly became the coolest cousin of the bunch (on paper). Ask Max about that fateful Eagles jacket.

Keith Isaacson
Father of the bride
Dad is a country-hopping and vegetable-avoiding adventure seeker. Full of ambition and chicken parmigiana, he’s a special kind of superhero who can fly, make babies, and doesn’t burn - even when he falls asleep shirtless at Jazz Fest. Completely devoted to friends and family, he’s the first to jump on a plane to help when you’re in need or to text you when the Patriots or Celtics beat your team (sorry Adam). Ask him how his rendition of “Alice’s Restaurant” is coming along, and if he tells you that “true love is a soul’s recognition of its counterpoint in another,” your response should be something like, “Whatever. Make me a bicycle, clown.”
Jennifer Isaacson
Mother of the bride
When Mom is around, you know you’ll have a good time. She’s always ready to dance, to try good food, or to take a long walk with “the boys” - Bavarian Bloodhound brothers Hershey and Bo. Perfectionist at heart, you know that everything will be amazing and will go according to plan when you leave it to her. She’s a “words with friends,” book club, and crafting guru. Always ready to send a Facebook message with the latest funny “Masshole” joke, a post with a cute dog meme, or (especially) a handwritten card in the mail, she reminds Leigh and Adam of her love everyday.
Tony D’Angelo
Father of the groom
Pops! Tony is New Orleans through and through- best proven when he asks you “Where y’at!?” as you stand right in front of him. He has an innate ability to give lifelong nicknames and will almost never use your actual first name. In fact, plenty of times he’ll just pick a different name just cuz (Adam = Ike, Alix = Pete... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯). Tony can be credited for all of Adam’s skills in the kitchen, his obsession with food, and his ability to quote any movie featuring Robert De Niro or Joe Pesce. He’s always down for a good meal and a good time. Ask Tony about Adam’s full length nickname, the hojito, and cooking something that’s “all the way uptown.”
Michelle Horton
Mother of the groom
If you’re still skeptical that a guy with the last name D’Angelo is Jewish, just have a conversation with Adam’s mom. She’s been the adopted Jewish mother for a lot of Adam’s friends throughout the years and loves nothing more than feeding her friends and family. Michelle’s a traveler who’s always down for a trip to somewhere new. She’s best known in the family circle for her dance moves and being Sugar’s favorite human. If you’re looking for her during the wedding weekend, you can probably find her wherever the live music is coming from. Ask Michelle about her travel documents, foods that qualify as “vile,” and jamoca almond fudge sundaes with her bubbie boy.
Penny Isaacson
The prettiest lady in all the land
Penny is a born and bred Westbanker with endless energy and a constant craving for chicken. She drives all the boys at the dog park crazy, and she’ll cuddle with you on her terms only (#feminism). You don’t need to tell her - she knows she’s extraordinarily beautiful. She’s happiest when running around chasing bicycles at top speed, she sleeps under the covers, and she has a deep distrust of cats and squirrels. Always down for kisses, fetch, or tug-o-war, she works hard to make Leigh and Adam happy every day.
