It's said that love, love is one of the highest and purest of virtues. It is an example and reflection of God and his intentions for creating human beings. It is something we feel but cannot grab, it feeds our souls with a taste that's incomparable to anything our tastebuds can register, it brings the good out of all and connects us from the beginning.

From the day we were both born we walked the Earth on seperate fronts, different continents and grew up in different countries. We have lived our lives as whole individuals, content with our positions and had faith that one day God will guide us in meeting our other half that will complete us, fulfill us and ultimately becoming one.

God works in mysterious ways... You will be surprised at what you find when you are not looking! Our paths finally crossed in 2012, when we met in our motherland South Sudan, on a hot dry seasonal day in the capital. We had initially acknowledged each other as friends after meeting through a family member who doubles as a mutual friend.

Our interactions at that point were concise and respectful, we were getting to know each other better by actions rather than words. We used to workout together and enjoy one another's company in the presence of family. We pretty much became family towards each other. As time went on we embarked on our lives and went our different path buts still kept in touch.

Seven years later we were reunited on New Year's Eve, our encounter was far from typical, to say the least it was an anomaly. We have heard in the past that saying "you just know when they're the one", the feeling that we both felt towards each other when we spoke was something that words can't express, to try and describe it grammarily would be unfair to the emotion. To put it simply it was a powerful and humbling experience, nothing else at the moment mattered, the stars were lined up and our unprecedented conversation was destined. The exchange of words and emotions that we both felt was in the state of flow as if it was happening in auto-pilot.

Our encounter that night was brief but the event was forever immotalized in our memories. From that day forward we committed to each another and established our union.

1 Corinthians 13: 4-8
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is no proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.!
