Nicole had recently moved to Orange County while Adam called Orange County home. "We'll always have Costco," frequents our cards and notes to each other. On our first date we raged at Costco. We like to laugh about one of the good things that came from raging at Costco. That good thing is "us". After the initial first few minutes of awkward chatting we began to laugh and connect. Being a Cop and a Nurse we both had life experiences and stories that made for funny and interesting conversation. We basically laughed the entire time. Though there wasn't an expectation that it would go any further than Costco, we agreed to meet for dinner and the story continues.
It was at our first dinner that Nicole asked what my last name was. Knowing she would think I was joking, I took out my badge and handed it to her. When she opened it and saw my name was "Adam Sandler" she screamed, "Oh my gosh" which caused such a commotion that the neighboring table thought that I was proposing to her and pulled out their camera to record us. We both started laughing.
We haven't stopped laughing and dating since Costco... We've been seeing each other ever since. And we still don't want the date to end.
