About The Bride

I am a born and raised Minnesota girl, though my love of travel and adventure has lead me to a few different places, I always seem to find my way back to the cities. I have an amazing 12-year-old daughter, Leticia, who loves to sing, dance, and quote a never-ending amount of TikToks.

I grew up in a very large, close knit, Mexican family. Which often shows by my, sometimes loud, outgoing personality. But most of all, is reflected in my deep-rooted family values and drive to provide for everyone. All of which has been the perfect complement to all of the amazing things that Ethan brings to the table.

Outside of working as a Practice Lead and Implementation Consultant at Thomson Reuters - I love to spend time with family and friends having game nights. I love kids and will never turn down the chance to hold a baby. So please send those babysitting requests my way!

About The Groom

I was born in Massachusetts but grew up in Wisconsin (with a short stint living in Scotland) and moved to Minnesota in 2009.

I enjoy playing soccer, reading books, and crafting silly jokes that make Leticia roll their eyes and get a courtesy laugh out of Stephanie.

I work as a Senior Technical Writer for a company that designs and manufacturer's automated and robotic packaging equipment but Leticia likes to say that I just "makes boxes."

How we met

A good way to start a new year is to find the love of your life.

It was January of 2021, when our love story began, just two singles that happened to swipe right on tinder.

After endless conversations about cooking, work, 90's R&B and hip hop, and life stories, we had our first date when pandemic restrictions were starting to lift. We spent a few hours talking and laughing over dinner. After enjoying each other's company so much, we agreed to a second date, and the journey kicked off from there.

The Proposal

It was November of 2022, and we would be leaving for a vacation in the Caribbean later in the week. So, we went to get manicures and pedicures, and then out to dinner. After returning home, Leticia went to her room, Ethan went upstairs to the office, and Stephanie took position at her usual spot on the coach in the living room. Yes, nothing unusual to raise any suspicion. Indeed. However, in a fit of excitement, Ethan came down the staircase to tell Stephanie some great news. He said "Babe, I got you something to wear on the cruise..." then taking a knee, "and also forever..." opening the jewelry box to show her the beautiful ring. Then the classic pop-quiz question, "Will you marry me?" was met with the also classic response, "Yes!"

Creating our Family

From our vacations to New York City or the Caribbean to our nights at home in comfy clothes watching Disney movies or playing games, we share a love for our lives being full of adventures as well as good ol' fashion staying-at-home-hanging-out. The list of things we love spending time together doing is long but there are a few bonds we each share that we'd like to highlight.

Stephanie and Leticia enjoy singing (they have an ongoing karaoke duel), shopping, getting their nails done, snuggling to watch movies and shows, and having endless conversations about how Stephanie is not a Lawyer.

Ethan and Leticia enjoy watching anime, playing video games, board games and card games, and following Stephanie around the house.

Stephanie and Ethan enjoy cooking together, exploring new cities, and planning their dream home.
