CAN I BRING A DATE?

Our dream is to have an intimate wedding with the people we love and have supported us throughout our lives and relationship. All invitees will be addressed on invitations and in the RSVP portion of our site.

DO I HAVE TO STAY AT FINEST RESORT?

Resort Policy: All wedding guests must stay at the resort.

We'd love for you to stay and celebrate the long weekend with us, but ultimately you can choose how short or long your stay will be at Finest Playa Mujeres. The travel section has the link and details for booking your room at Finest Resort Playa Mujeres.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE TO THE RESORT?

Shadonna and Sherman will be staying at the resort Wednesday 4/20/22 until Tuesday 4/26/22.

We highly recommend to take a red eye or early morning flight to enjoy more time at the resort. Suggested arrival dates are: Thursday 4/21. Suggested Departure Dates Sunday 1/24 or later.
Reminder: Wedding is on Friday


We do not recommend arriving on Friday just in case flights get delayed or cancelled plus you'll miss the Welcome Party on Thursday.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY TRIP?

As soon as you know you'll be joining us, please place the deposit on your room accommodations. $150 non refundable deposits should be made no later than June 1st, 2021.  

We locked a set price for everyone with our destination wedding travel planner. Final payments and headcount are due Jan 7th, 2022.

WHAT SHOULD I PACK?

White attire for Welcome Party, Wedding Day attire, swimwear, sandals, sunscreen, bug spray, etc.


Tipping Money: though the resort is "all inclusive" make sure to pack plenty $1 & $5 bills to tip the staff.


Also in addition, restaurants at the resort have dress codes. They are extremely strict about the dress codes. Please visit the link below and select restaurant choice for dress code details.



More importantly: Men are required pants, closed toe shoes and collared shirts for dinner (jeans and polo shirts are OK)

WHAT ACTIVITIES CAN I DO WHILE IN CANCUN?

Remember your stay is all inclusive- along with all meals and drinks, Kayaking, Paddle boarding, non motorized water activities, cooking & Spanish classes are included in your stay at Finest Playa Mujeres. 

Shadonna and Sherman are  also hosting an all inclusive tour on a catamaran Cruise After The I Dos to Isla Mujeres. Which will be the day after the wedding  as a thank you gift for their guest.

Open Bar, food,  Jet Skies and Snorkeling included!

DO I NEED A PASSPORT?

YES! You must have a passport to travel to Mexico. Please do NOT wait until the last minute to renew or apply for your passport.

IS MY FLIGHT INCLUDED?

NO! Your flight is not included. You have to book your flight separately and email your flight itinerary to Megan by February 28th 2022 so she can set up your transfer from and back to the airport.

IS THE RESORT ALL-INCLUSIVE?

Yes! The resort is all-inclusive. Your booking includes your stay, food, alcoholic beverages, WiFi, some excursions/activities and 24 room service. The resort has 12 restaurants and 16 bars/lounges for unlimited use during your stay.
