Jess and Kate have been friends since primary school. First in the same athletics team in grade 3 and then representing the Northern Midlands in netball in grade 6, before going through school from year 7-12 together.
After Year 12 Jess moved to Melbourne for a few years to work and study. Despite not living in the same place since they were 19 and not being the best at keeping in contact when they are away their friendship never changes.
Kate and Jess enjoy catching up over a walk and a coffee, however they are both ALWAYS late, so a coffee together at 10am always turns into 10.30am.
Jess has recently graduated as a teacher and her and partner Henry now live in Launceston.
Nat and Kate are cousins and have shared a close bond from childhood. They have grown up together and often been the only two girls on a cricket team full of boys!
Kate was a Bridesmaid in Nat and husband Justin's wedding in 2011 and since then Nat and Juz have welcomed 3 beautiful boys; Jax, Ollie and Abel who are very special to Kate and Sean.
Brooke and Kate have played cricket together for Tassie for almost 10 years and in that time have also travelled on two international holidays together, the first being to New Zealand in 2012 and most recently to Greece and Croatia in 2018.
In 2018 Brooke welcomed puppy Arlo. Kate and Sean's puppy Fred and Arlo are besties and now most of Kate and Brooke's catch ups are at the beach, dog park or via the dog's Instagram accounts (@freddiethegroodle_ and @_arlothegolden if you want to give them a cheeky follow).
They also enjoy cycling, hiking, catching up for coffee and don't mind the odd GnT.
Goodyer is Sean's Best Man and is a genuine all round "good bloke". He and Sean have been mates since high school. They enjoy catching up over a "few beers" and watching the Bombers beat the Tigers.
Josh and his fiancé Cathy have recently welcomed their first child Harrsion into the world and Sean and Kate are looking forward to squishing his cute little face and playing pseudo Uncle and Aunty as he grows up.
Brock and Sean met when they both worked at Tasmanian Irrigation in 2015. Sean and Brock catch up for regular gym sessions and hitting the Hobart trails.
Brock and his partner Mia live down the road from Sean and Kate in Hobart and have weekly games nights.
Sean is the eldest of five siblings, with Luke being his bigger younger brother. With only two years separating them, Sean and Luke have had a close bond throughout childhood enjoying growing up together and sharing many friendship groups.
Some of Sean's fondest memories are with Luke; fishing, bike riding, playing cricket and footy, climbing trees, digging holes in the backyard and when they got (a little) older drinking and partying.
Luke is a builder and his partner Maddy and puppy Wally live in Launceston.
Sean and Kate's baby Freddie really needs no introduction. He is looking forward to playing an im"paw"tant role on the big day!
Ben (also known as Frenchy) met Sean and Kate at Christ College in 2012 where he was Sean's neighbour. Originally from the North West Coast, Ben is currently completing his PHD in Environmental Change Biology.
