We all know the famous saying...but in our case, what happens in Vegas didn't stay in Vegas! Danny was visiting Vegas with a group of his best friends, while traveling the US for a summer holiday. Nicole was visiting with her friend from college. One night during the trip, we struck up a conversation on the dance floor and the rest is history! There's some disagreement when it comes to who initiated the conversation first (Nicole totally did), so in this case we've had to agree to disagree.
Little did we know that Las Vegas trip was just the beginning for us.

After a year of doing long distance, we both moved to London! Danny relocated to London for work, and Nicole started Graduate School at King's College London. We spent the next year and a half living in London, taking in the sights, finding our favorite pubs and grub, and dancing the night away at Infernos. While living in London we also traveled to Berlin, Croatia, and many parts of England.

Once Nicole graduated, it was time to move on to the next adventure! We decided to make the trek back across the pond and move to the US. Danny found a job in Chicago, so it was time to see what the Windy City had in store for us.
We spent our time in Chicago trying to eat our way through the city, while stopping at many breweries along the way. We were also able to take many trips up to Wisconsin to visit family and cheer on the Green Bay Packers!

In August of 2019, we took a trip to Europe, stopping in England, Spain, and Croatia. While we were in Croatia, Danny surprised Nicole with a private island hopping boat trip, just the two of us. While boating around the beautiful islands (and nearly getting sea sick), we stopped at our favorite beach, Stiniva Beach. Once we got off the boat, Danny dropped to one knee and popped the question! Spoiler alert - Nicole said yes!

Our time in Chicago came to an end as we welcomed our next adventure - a move to the beautiful Pacific Northwest! Seattle was a new city for us to explore, so we were both very excited. Unfortunately 2020 had different plans for the world (thanks, COVID), so our planned adventures around the city turned into dance parties in our apartment, playing games (Nicole always wins at chess), and ordering food delivery more than we want to admit. Despite the challenges, we still had an epic year, and were able to explore Olympic National Park, Mt. Rainier, Portland, Mt. Hood, and Cannon Beach while hanging out with some great friends and family along the way.

2020 threw us a curveball when we decided we needed to postpone our wedding. With everything up in the air, we thought the best decision for us was to pack up (yet again!) and move to the Sunshine State to be closer to family. We purchased our first house, took countless trips to Home Depot, and channelled our inner Chip and Joanna Gaines to make some home improvements. Now with our wedding finally on the horizon, and reassurances that the world will be gaining some normalcy again, we couldn't be more excited for all of the memories that are yet to come!
