Please Log inWhere am I going to stay?
There's a room for you at Hotel Campo Marzio, right next to the train station. Please contact the Hotel at the number: +39 0444 545700 saying you're with Michelle's wedding.
Can I bring Kids?
We are going to reserve a part of the villa for child care. We are going to hire English-speaking baby sitters for the event, so you can enjoy the party and also go check on your kids.
How do I get to the Venue?
We made a deal with a van rental company. They are going to transfer you from the Hotel to the Venue and back. The ride from the Hotel to the Villa is about 7/10 minutes :)
Here's what you need to wear
The dress code is whatever brings you Joy! The location is a little fancy, but feel free to wear whatever you want to be photographed in. White is not banned, the bride is going to wear white too!! I would recommend to bring a light jacked for the evening and make sure not to wear extremely high heels, it's an outdoor location, with grass and gravel.
How is the weather in May?
Of course we can't guarantee anything, but at the end of may the weather is generally really nice! I would recommend to bring a light jacked for the evening. You can check the weather here before coming!
How do I get to the Hotel from the airport
Flying to Venice airport would be more convenient. But also Milan is perfectly duable.
If you fly to Venice: There's a 17 minute bus every 10 minutes that can take you the Venezia Mestre train station, from there you can take a direct train to Vicenza. The hotel is 350 meters from the Vicenza's train station. Please let us know at ottoandmichellewedding@gmail.com if you need help booking tickets or finding the way.
The schedule it's going to be posted on the app this spring, aswell as the guests list with pictures. More and more details to come!
We are planning a rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding. It's going to be close to the hotel, in the downtown area of the city, so no transportation it's going to be needed.
In Italy, we don't leave our guests without lunch. At the venue, you are going to find a rich "welcome brunch" right at the entrance of the Villa. Dinner is not going to be until after the ceremony, so we want to make sure our guests don't start eating each other before the ceremony ends :)
