Meet Sofie, my best friend for life.Our friendship goes back 17 years. We have seen each other through all stages and phases; the endless ebbs and flows of life. From our young parties days, relationship and career changes, mermaid hair, the most fun girls trips, motherhood and evolving into women who are living our best lives. I love that we have remained best babes through it all. Sof was the very first person I told that I loved Matt. Just a few weeks in I spilled to her that I knew he was the one I wanted to spend my life with. She is my soul sister and one of the most fierce and fab boss lady mama's I know. Sofie has always guided me in love, supported me each time I went off course and lead me to raising my self worth and standards in relationships. She played a major role in me finding the most amazing man I ever could have asked for. I couldn't be more proud to have her stand up for me as my Maid of honour. I have dreamed of this day my whole life, sharing with her every single idea I imagined for a fairy tale wedding. (She was even the one who first suggested the venue!!!). I am so excited for her to stand right beside me as I finally get to make my dream come true.
My best friend from the instant we met at school, minus the first few weeks that she mostly didn't like me. We met on our insane journey together to becoming professional counsellors. We have seen each other at our absolute worst. She has supported me every step of the way through some of the most challenging times in my life. Her humour and joyful spirit has been such a huge light in my life. Our most simple times together have been some of the happiest and most cherished moments, including those nights she has been my partner in crime. I'm most grateful for our unfiltered phone calls which often happen 4 times a day. I would be lost without them. She makes me laugh harder than anyone I know and has been unconditionally supportive through every milestone in our lives. She also keeps me young and wild at heart. Cruz and I feel so blessed to have her in our lives and I am so truly honoured to have her as one of my bridesmaid's and as my beautiful friend for life.
My la Mare. I met this doll years ago through our mutual best friend. She instantly captured my heart with her witty sense of humour, her impeccable style, her beautiful heart and her ability to tell a story; i'm either on the edge of my seat or belly laughing so hard it hurts. She never fails to meet me where I am at and support me through all phases of life. Our lengthy, truthful and authentic conversations I live for. She has been a blessing in my life and I truly adore her and everything she stands for. She exudes love, passion and light. I am beyond grateful to have come to know her as one of my best girls and to have her stand up for me on my wedding day.
Meet Angela. Where do I begin. She is My cousin, my best friend, my sidekick and my business partner. She happens to be one of the most supportive, kind and devoted humans I have ever come to know. I cannot say enough how big of a blessing she has been in mine and Cruz's life. She has held my hand and seen us through everyone of life challenges and endless laughs. She is the only one who I can count on to stress each cake with me in the car and to refill the tequila on bad day. Ang has talked about my wedding day for as long as I can remember, and must have asked Matt 1 million times when he was going to propose. She has been part of the most tedious bridal decisions and supportive of every time I changed my colours or bridesmaid dresses. Angela is the the closest person I have to a sister and I am so lucky to have her as my best friend and auntie to my son.
