The Ceremony

2019
Our ceremony rehearsal/dinner is limited to the wedding party and bride + groom's immediate family. If you are the spouse of someone in the wedding party, you do not need to attend the rehearsal at the venue. Instead, you can head straight to Passatempo at 6:30 p.m.
Wedding party: Please meet at àMaurice Cellars (178 Vineyard Lane) at 5:30 p.m. to rehearse the ceremony logistics. Dinner at Passatempo will follow at 6:30 p.m.
àMaurice is approximately 15 minutes via car from downtown Walla Walla.
àMaurice is situated on 20 perfectly sloped acres in the Blue Mountain foothills of Walla Walla. Full of natural beauty and amongst the rows and rows of vines, we are very much looking forward to hosting this special day at this extraordinary venue. Not to mention the wine is some of the best in the state!
Parking is extremely limited at the venue, so if you must drive please let Mark or Margo know so that they can arrange to hold a dedicated parking spot for you.
Since many of our guests are staying in home rentals and various hotels, we have arranged for charter buses to transport our guests from the most central location of town (Marcus Whitman Hotel) to the venue. The buses will pick up and drop off all guests from the parking lot of the Marcus Whitman Hotel located at 6 W Rose St. If you are not staying at or within walking distance to the hotel, you are welcome to drive and park your car at the hotel, or arrange for a taxi or uber to drop you off there to catch the shuttle.
Shuttle #1: 4 p.m. (arriving to venue at 4:15 p.m.)
Shuttle #2: 4:30 p.m. (arriving to venue at 4:45 p.m.)
**If you are able, please plan to take the 4 p.m. shuttle so that the later shuttle buses are not crammed with everyone. Plus, you will be able to spend more time on the beautiful vineyard grounds and enjoy a cold beverage before the ceremony starts.
You are also welcome to take a car service, taxi or uber if you prefer not to take the shuttles.
Shuttle returns back to the Marcus Whitman hotel will begin at 9 p.m. and run until 11 p.m.
