Hotels and Accomodation
Slot Doddendael is located near the village of Ewijk and next to the river Waal. There are several small towns nearby including Beuningen, Weurt and Lent with the nearest large city of Nijmegen 10-15 minutes away by car.
We anticipate most people will be staying in Nijmegen, although a small number of AirBnB's may be found in the surrounding villages.
There are numerous hotels to be found across Nijmegen. Generally speaking we advise to focus around the centre of Nijmegen or the villages Beuningen, Weurt or Lent.
We have put together a few recommendations below. In addition to these larger hotels, there are lots of smaller hotels in the buzzy Hezelstraat and the grand Sint Annastraat.
Recommendations:
MANNA Hotel - A very nice 4 star hotel, set within a historic building on one of the older streets of Nijmegen. Very good location in the city centre and well connected. FULLY BOOKED
BLUE by MANNA - High end 4 star hotel in the most beautiful street of Nijmegen, next to (and owned by) MANNA.
Hotel Nimma - This is a great budget option in a more industrial area, with a fun vibe and only a 10 min. taxi from the venue. FULLY BOOKED
Van der Valk Hotel - This is new, has good facilities and is a walking distance from Nijmegen-Lent station, and a 25 minute walk to the city centre.
Guesthouse Vertoef - More affordable option very near Nijmegen Central Station and the City Centre, with bike rental options.
Mercure Hotel Nijmegen - Decent hotel right next to Nijmegen Central Station, walking distance into the city centre and good connectivity to the venue.
