BE A TRAVELER NOT A TOURIST

MAUI NO KA OI translates to Maui is the Best, and for good reason. Maui has a lot to offer its visitors. It truly is paradise.

We humbly ask that when visiting the island, you do so with respect and gratitude. Enjoy yourselves, indulge, and kick back, but please do so with a curiosity about the culture, the people, and the land.

Hawaii has a complicated and rich history and too often tourists are willingly naive, treating the entire island as if it were their hotel.

We are sure that our friends and family do not fall into this category, but we'd would be remised to not bring proper attention to this reality.
