Travel Recommendations
Both O'Hare and Midway are great options for flying into Chicago.
The subway system (known as the "L") provides transport from either airport to city center (known as the Loop).
- O'hare - Blue Line to Washington (the Loop) & Red Line to Grand
- Midway - Orange Line to Harold Washington Library (the Loop) & Red Line to Grand
Amtrak provides another great option to get into Chicago while avoiding both traffic and the airport. The train will take you directly to Union Station which is a short 2 mile uber from the hotel.

Driving into the city is definitely an option, but not as easy as it sounds. Traffic gets congested regularly and parking within the city averages $50/day. We recommend carpooling for those who decide to drive.
Chicago has one of the largest mass transit systems in America. The L is a subway system that runs on eLevated tracks throughout the city. A one-way fare of $4 will get you anywhere in the city 24 hours a day and is a great way to avoid traffic. You can also purchase a day pass for $10 if you want the ability to explore more of the city.
