The wedding ceremony and reception are located on an actual ship. (you're surprised... we know)

The wedding party will be wearing suits, not tuxedos. Button down shirts are appropriate, jackets and tie are optional but not required.

Given the authentic feel of the ship, the floor is not perfectly even, you have to step through thresholds in each doorway, and it can get rather windy from time to time. Given the above, we recommend the following:

- Stable comfortable shoes 

- Long dresses are more manageable if it's breezy, and events will take place on various levels of the ship 

- Check the weather the day before you pack... it's Chicago... we are expecting weather somewhere between a blizzard and the Sahara

We are planning a fun day in Chicago on Sunday, immediately following the wedding. Given so many people are traveling from out of town, we want the opportunity to see everyone as much as possible. Please participate as available.
