We were so excited when we found Galway Downs for our wedding because we knew it wasn't only a GORGEOUS location, but we we also know how much fun and relaxing things there are to do. 

We invite you to use our wedding as an excuse to just get away! Take a couple days off before our big day with friends and family to splurge, relax, and make fantastic memories.

Temeculas BEST RATED wine tasting tour

Visit three Temecula wineries, tasting six wines at each stop. Tours are all-inclusive and perfect for special occasions, anniversaries, bridal showers, birthdays, and corporate events. Guests have the option to enjoy a pre-ordered meal ($15) or order from the full lunch menu at the second location. The third stop features live music from Los Angeles-based bands.

Sunrise Temecula balloon flight

Take flight in a hot air balloon as the sun rises on this trip that leaves from a winery in Temecula, Calif. Glide over citrus groves and vineyards and look across the horizon at mountains while floating in your balloon. An FAA-licensed, fully certified pilot serves as your guide. After landing, you return to the vineyard to enjoy a light breakfast with mimosas in a private rose garden.

Temecula Carriage Co.

Tucked behind the orange groves, nestled in the heart of wine country is a family owned and operated business called the Temecula Carriage Company. With their well loved herd of horses, the Temecula Carriage Company offers private romantic horse drawn carriage rides through the vineyards.

Each carriage is outfitted with a wicker picnic basket which can include a bottle of wine and a picnic of meats, cheeses, crackers, chocolates and olives. Parasols and flannel blankets are also onboard the carriages and within reach of the riders.

Snuggle with your loved one as you listen to the clip clop of the horse's hooves. Group wine tasting tours are also available on the classic horse drawn trolley. Sit back and enjoy the countryside as the horses pull you along at a relaxing old time pace. On this group tour, 4 wineries will be visited throughout the day. Dine at the restaurants, shop at the gift shops, relax in the gardens and of course, wine taste. Go Wine Tasting with Old Fashioned Horse Power!

Come visit our loving farm and exotic animals! Where you can kiss a camel or pet a zebra, micro mini horse, goat, alpaca, sheep, Capybara, and much more!! Daisy our tour guide pig would love to show you around!

Our custom artisan chocolates are in a number of leading five star hotels. Your visit also includes a chocolate sample from our shop.

Rose Haven Heritage Garden

The Temecula Valley Rose Society is affiliated with the American Rose Society. As a nonprofit public benefit corporation our purpose is to encourage the appreciation, study and cultivation of roses. Rose Haven Heritage Garden Temecula grows happily in Temecula and is a private garden open to the public. The 3.4 acre garden is owned and maintained by the Temecula Valley Rose Society, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit . We provide a peaceful setting for quiet enjoyment, active learning and building community connections through nature. The Society meets on the third Thursday of each month, except July, from 10:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Community Room at the Temecula Library, located at 30600 Pauba Road, Temecula.

The Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve

The Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve, located at the southern end of the Santa Ana Mountains in southwest Riverside County near the city of Murrieta, is a hidden gem that offers a fascinating glimpse into the history and ecosystems of the area. Consisting of 9000 acres, the Reserve protects unique ecosystems such as Engelmann oak woodlands, riparian wetlands, coastal sage scrub, chaparral, bunchgrass prairie, and vernal pools as well as more than 200 species of native birds and 49 endangered, threatened or rare animal and plant species, including mule deer, mountain lions, badgers, bobcats, western pond turtles, white-tailed kites and fairy shrimp. Of the two species of fairy shrimp that live in the seasonal vernal pools on the Reserve, one is found only here and nowhere else on Earth!
