John Michael and Tiffany met in September of 2017 over Memorial Day weekend. The two had met over a dating app that they now claim have changed their lives forever. After chatting through voice and text the next several days John Michael finally decided to ask her out on a date. Tiffany still remembers thinking this could be her "last first date" as she was driving in her car, only to laugh afterwards thinking she had just made a joke. John Michael had arrived 2 hours early to Saltgrass Steakhouse not wanting to be late. As they approached eachother in the parking lot John Michaels first words were  "Are you Tiffany? Well I'm John Michael!" and he shook her hand as he handed her several peacock feathers from his farm in place of flowers. Their relationship finally became official several weeks later at a fajita restaurant the same night he met Mr. and Mrs. Dam for the first time. Also the same night John Michael saught permission to date Tiffany at the dinner table.

Throughout the years they have loved eachother, stood by eachother through the good and bad, been a part of dozens of projects, and have raised a feisty bunny (flower) and a puppy (nana) who really thinks she owns them.

Now for the proposal!

John Michael and her family left in July for the couples very first Disney trip, and John Michaels first plane ride! Little did Tiffany know they would come back engaged. Towards the middle of the trip, the whole family planned on eating a special dinner at the Grand Floridian at Disneyworld. While walking to the restaurant, mom (Mindy) tried to get everyone to take a detour to look at Disneys wedding chapel "just for fun". As they made their way down the aisle, Tiffany started to catch on and realize that something was about to happen. John Michael and Tiffany finally made it to the alter to see the view of the Magic Kingdom castle straight ahead. Before she knew it, John Michael was on one knee explaining how he could not live without her. Of course Tiffany said yes and the rest is a fairy tale come true!

Afterwards, the family kept with their original dining plans and dined and celebrated as the fireworks were going off infront of Sleeping Beautys castle. John Michael and Tiffany could not have imagined anything more magical.

For fun, you can find them doing weekend projects in the backyard, date nights on the tail gate, and blasting their alexa to Disney music.

John Michael and Tiffany have naturally become a part of eachothers family and cannot imagine life without one another. After marriage, they plan on building up their home in Round Rock while enjoying their marriage, with hopes on traveling and buying their first piece of acreage and slowly creating their own homestead.
