Hey - where the party at?
Sierra Pines Resort consists of 21 cabins with a full service restaurant and bar. Amenities include a 2,000 Rainbow Trout, a beautiful meadow for picnics & BBQs, a campfire pit, horseshoes & cornhole, game room (with ping-pong, pool table & pinball), walking trails, and 1/3 mile of private Yuba River frontage.
Each room has a mini fridge, microwave and coffeemaker.
There is wifi at the main lodge and zero cell service in the area. It is a non-smoking property.
In the Trailer, we'll stock snacks, water and toiletries for the weekend. This will be our main gathering space for karaoke, bonfires and late night chats.
We recommend arriving on Thursday, October 7th and departing on Sunday, October 10th. Rooms are between $100-$170 depending on the type.
Room numbers have been assigned and reserved under each person's name. To confirm your reservation: email sierrapinesresort@gmail.com or call 530.862.1151 to provide a deposit.
Sierra City, CA is approximately 1.5 hours from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport.
From the airport you can choose to rent a car OR arrange a shuttle to Sierra Pines Resort.
If you are flying and would like your own transportation for the weekend, there are nine options to choose from at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. After completing the rental agreement inside, vehicles may be collected from the Parking Structure located just outside Baggage Claim.
If you are flying and don't want to drive, we can arrange for someone to pick you up. Please let Jax know if you want to set this up.
If you are driving to Sierra City and are interested in carpooling options as a driver or passenger, let Jax know and she can connect you to others in the area or along the way.
Please note that ride sharing services such as Lyft and Uber are not available in Sierra City.
Parking is plentiful at Sierra Pines Resort. We will have a shuttle to and from the ceremony site.
Sierra Pines Resort is located at 104 Main St, Sierra City, CA 96125.
Most of our activities will take place here including the reception. Our ceremony will be held at Sardine Lake Resort - 990 Sardine Lake Rd, Sierra City, CA 96125.
Transportation will be provided to and from the ceremony on Friday.

Check out some of the local history at the Kentucky Mine Museum, Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum or the Schoolhouse Gallery.
Take a 2-3 hour guided electric bike or ATV tour on an 1800 acre private ranch through Eco Bike Adventures. Go horseback riding with Reid Horse & Cattle Company. Relax at the Sierra Hot Springs. Try fly fishing. Go white water rafting on the Yuba River.
The Brewing Lair is located on 15 acres of forested land in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Go hang out at the brewery for an afternoon to sip on craft beers and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Pack up your kids, a picnic and the dog, and enjoy the fresh mountain air at The Brewing Lair.
Frazier Falls Trail is a 1.1 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Clio, California that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels; perfect for a family hike. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is best used from June until September. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Reno Riverwalk District is approximately a 1.5 hour drive - here you can find events, art galleries, museums, sports, comedy clubs, shopping, bars and many restaurants. It is also close to casinos like Eldorado Resort Casino.
Emerald Bay State Park is a little over 1.5 hours away but offers colorful granite cliffs and stunning panoramas. You can also take a boat to Fannette Island to see geological evidence of past glacial activity or tour Vikingsholm, a Scandinavian summer home built in the 1920's.
Onsite, Sierra Pines Resort has a full service restaurant and bar open for breakfast and dinner.
Offsite, there are a few restaurants along Main Street. You can get a killer brunch at Red Moose Cafe, a cup of joe at Confluence Coffee or pick up some snacks and booze at the Country Store. A little further up the road, Bassett Station has a restaurant, gas and a general store - we stop here every Memorial Day for ice cream! A little further out in Blairsden is Gumba's, a great spot for pizza and burgers. A quick search on Yelp or Google will show you other great options if you're willing to drive a little further out.
