Once upon a time... jk
It all started in April 2023, when Dilakshi started working at Chartright in Maintenance where Jack had been working for a few years. Although they both took interest in each other, their shy and reserve nature took its time. They exchanged numbers with the excuse of a work related matter and continued on friendly banter.
After a while Jack started to be creative by leaving trails of sticky notes with messages written to catch her attention. Sometimes 5/6 sticky notes would be meticulously hidden around the office. This surely caught Dilakshi’s attention towards the man behind the pranks.
During this period Dilakshi was on the hunt for a car, and as her colleagues were helping in finding one , Dilakshi reached out to Jack to go see a car with her. On his return from a camping trip Jack happily agreed to check the car over for any issues.
After that day Jack and Dilakshi started to learn about each other, with deeper conversations about life, religion, interests, work and everything under the sky. Although they set out to find a car, they found something worth more than a car, a soulmate in each other.
As they were running out of conversational topics, Jack asked to take Dilakshi on their first date . At the time the Barbie movie just released, so they put on their cutest outfits to have a nice time. Jack was clearly so nervous that he didn't take the time to read the menu properly, and ended up with a fish bowl drink on a first date...
As the story continues , just last Summer during their trip to Portugal, with the blessings of their families , Jack asked Dilakshi to be - each others, for eternity to come. And so it begins the first chapter of a lifelong story to be unfold.
