Accommodations

Accommodation can be pricy, Air B&Bs/Vrbos are best booked early and you can join forces with other guest via the posting area on this website.

A good reasonably priced -eclectic beach hotel is The Tides https://tideslaguna.com which is within walking distance to most of the events.

For those of you that want to splurge there are three great options:

Hotel Joaquin is a small boutique hotel within walking distance of our home where the ceremony and beach party will take place. This small hotel is frequently featured as one of southern California's most quintessential beach getaway locations hoteljoaquin.com.

The Ranch which, is a resort style hotel tucked into the canyon, it is a bit of an oasis away from beach traffic and is where our welcome dinner will be hosted on Sunday evening  https://www.theranchlb.com.

Close to the Ranch but on the beach instead of tucked into the canyon is The Montage- big fancy hotel, worth walking past or having a drink at the lobby bar even if you don't stay here https://www.montagehotels.com/lagunabeach/. This is one of our favorite brunch spots.

Flights

Los Angles International Airport

For most international travelers, LAX is the best airport to fly into. LAX is about 1.5 hours drive to Laguna Beach

John Wayne Airport

For domestic travelers, John Wayne Airport is the nearest option, which is 20 minutes away from Fisherman's cove.

Transportation

Uber or a rental car

Uber and Lyft work really well in Laguna.  Of course you can also rent a car.  Also, Laguna has a free trolly for getting around town.

Things to Do

Go to the beach

Laguna Beach has many hidden coves and different beaches.  You can walk along the bluffs or among the tide pools.  Or you can get out on the water on a paddle board or surf board.  You can snorkel in a kelp forest.

Crystal Cove State Park

Just north of Laguna Beach is Crystal Cove State Park, which has miles of beaches and lots of hiking trails, along with some restaurants and vintage beach shacks.
