Crystal: It all started with a post on Instagram in March of 2023! Moises saw a post my friend had from her birthday that caught his attention. He is best friends with her brother. He asked my friend if she could give him my number. She was hesitant and said wait...and sent me a video. I was like, tell him to follow me on IG! He sent a request as my account is private and I accepted, and he reached out. We didn't talk much until the next day. Moises lived in San Antonio, and I lived in the Valley, 4 hours away. I was supposed to be in San Antonio for a work event in a couple of weeks, so he decided to ask me out. He didn’t make any real plans until the day I arrived there. I met him in person on April 12, 2023, and had a nice night at the Palenque Grill. When the night was over, we said goodbye, and each went our separate ways. I would say the date was a success! We would each take turns making the 4-hour drive, kindling the relationship, meeting each other’s kids and moving forward. In July 2023 we went on my first trip to Cancun. I had never traveled to Mexico before. We had a beautiful trip! Fast forward to December 2024. Moises and I went on a trip to New York. It was a bucket list item for both of us and an early birthday celebration for me. We went to the Rockefeller Center and at the top of The Rock, he proposed! I was so surprised and so excited and of course, I said YES! So, here we are, full circle, going back to beautiful Cancun to say our I Do’s and we can't wait to celebrate with our family and friends!

Moises: I had previously seen an Instagram post of my friend's birthday with her girlfriend’s. One of them caught my attention wearing some beautiful light blue earrings. About a week later I was playing poker at my best friend's house and his sister was there. I asked her, what's up with your friend? She said what friend, and I said yea, the one on Instagram from your birthday. She said wait a minute, and I showed her the post and picked Crystal from the line up. She then told me ohhh, yes she is single, but you better not hurt her, she's been through a lot. I said, don't worry just introduce me and I will handle the rest. I requested Crystal on IG. We briefly texted that nigh and the following day we messaged and then exchanged numbers because I do not like to text or be on the phone. Crystal stated she preferred to text. At that point I thought it was just gonna be someone else I met online. The days following we communicated through phone calls and the texts continued. The more we talked and texted the more I was intrigued by her. She had a business trip coming to San Antonio so I asked her if she would Like to have dinner and she accepted. That day I told her we'd eat at Palenque Grill. She didn't allow me to pick her up at a hotel which I thought was odd because she did not know her way around San Antonio. Of course she was late and I had a couple of drinks before she arrived. After 30 minutess or so I went out to get her from her vehicle. We had dinner and really good conversation. We both had to work the following day, so we cut the night short and went our separate ways.

I called her to ensure she made it to her hotel safely. That night I felt she was interesting.... but had a very secure wall up for her personal reasons. We continued to talk and text and we met up again about a month later at Plucker's. The next day we hung out with friends and family. Then in May I made the trip to spi with my best friend and his sister for her sons' graduation. I was going on a family trip in July to Cancun with usually couples. In early May I asked her if she would like to join, as she had never been to Cancun. We started planning.

Prior to inviting her to Cancun I was feeling different after being single for years. I had my wall up but with Crystal it was different. We continued to commute back and forth and feelings got stronger. Within 3 months I told her she would be my wife, and she laughed thinking it was a joke, and I said I am serious you will be my wife.

The communication was great, and the chemistry was amazing. Sometimes I would think it was a dream and I would pinch myself. I planned and proposed in December 2024, and we both knew a destination wedding was what we wanted.
