Within Spa at Sherwood & Hydro Spas at JW Marriott offer facials, massages & manicure/pedicures. We recommend booking in advance.

Wink and Wave is a local mobile team offering a variety of hair, nail & spa services and can come to you on-site at Sherwood and/or the JW Marriott. To book, email: support@winkandwave.com or text: 416-721-2008.

Secar Hair is in downtown Port Carling and offers hair-styling & blowouts (open Mon-Fri; suggest enquiring directly for Saturday availability).

When will I receive confirmation of my hotel?

After our RSVP's have been received, we will be in touch to share a confirmation of your hotel.

When can I check in?

Sherwood Inn check in is anytime after 4:00 pm Thursday, and check out is 11 am Sunday.

JW Marriott check in is 4:00 pm on the date of your arrival (Thursday or Friday), and check out is 11 am Sunday.

If I’m assigned to the JW Marriott, will my transportation be arranged for wedding activities?

Yes.

What on-site activities are available at Sherwood Inn?

Tennis and pickle-ball courts will be available first come, first served. Paddleboards, canoes, kayaks are available for use at the beachfront

Port Carling

A short 10 minute drive from The Sherwood Inn, Port Carling offers a variety of restaurant, shopping and local attractions. You will also find necessities such as a grocery store, liquor store and drug store.

Some of the activities in Port Carling to check out include:

· York and Mason; Cute coffee shop
· Tulo’s Taqueria : Mexican restaurant on the water – a good option for lunch / dinner or to grab a drink
· For shopping, start at Duke’s (small stores and pop ups), and walk down the way to Poppy’s. Check out Bettencourt Manor and Muskoka Living for interiors.
· Studio 3 Muskoka : A friend recommends checking them out if you want a circuit workout

Port Sandfield (9km):
~10 min drive from our wedding venue:
· Grab some treats from Silver Stream Farms (we hear their donuts & apple fritters are worth trying!) and head to the marina for a coffee and watch some boats go through from Rosseau to Lake Joe

Bala (11km south):
~10 min drive from our wedding venue:
· Don’s Bakery - iconic Muskoka spot - known for cinnamon buns, fritters, butter tarts (a Canadian classic)
· For shopping, start at Jack and Stella and walk from there – there is also a place to grab a bite with water seating at the back
