The Wedding

We will be hosting your accommodations for our wedding weekend. All guests will be at the Sherwood Inn (our wedding venue) or the JW Marriott Lake Rousseau (~20 minutes from our venue).
We will be in touch with confirmation about your hotel arrangements.
Transportation: For those staying at the JW Marriott, transportation to and from the Sherwood Inn will be provided for all wedding activities.
Check In & Out: Sherwood Inn check in is anytime after 4:00 pm Thursday, and check out is 11 am Sunday. JW Marriott check in is 4:00 pm on the date of your arrival (Thursday or Friday), and check out is 11 am Sunday.
There are a few golf options available:
There will be an organized golf event on Friday morning (availability limited). Cost is expected to be ~$200 CAD per person, not including golf club rentals. Please indicate your interest in participating in this event in your RSVP and we will follow up with more information to confirm your spot.
Lake Joseph 9 Hole Course: Each guest's stay at Sherwood includes one round of golf on the Lake Joseph Academy Course. Reservations in advance required. More information about booking will be available closer to our wedding weekend.
There are several other 18 hole golf courses in the area that you are welcome to reserve on your own, including Rocky Crest and Muskoka Bay.
We are organizing a 2-hour boat cruise in the early afternoon on Friday (~1-3pm) that will pick up and drop off from Sherwood Inn dock.
Please indicate your participation in your RSVP (note: unfortunately those attending the organized golf event will not be able to participate in the boat cruise due to timing constraints).
Tennis & pickle ball is available at Sherwood Inn first come, first served.
Paddleboards, canoes, kayaks are available for use at the beachfront.
Beginnings Spa at Sherwood & Hydro Spa at JW Marriott offer facials, massages & manicure/pedicures. We recommend booking in advance.
Wink and Wave is a local mobile team offering a variety of hair, nail & spa services and can come to you on-site at Sherwood and/or the JW Marriott. To book, email: support@winkandwave.com or text: 416-721-2008.
Secar Hair is in downtown Port Carling and offers hair-styling & blowouts (open Mon-Fri; suggest enquiring directly for Saturday availability).
