Eleven Experience

If you are looking for a more luxe option we recommend checking out the properties managed by Eleven Experience. They have several locations throughout Crested Butte: Scarp Ridge Lodge, Sopris House, and Public House.

Rentals

West Wall Lodge

West Wall offers luxury condos right on the mountain.

Peak Property Management

Though there are many rental properties in the area, they often list with local companies rather than AirBnb/VRBO. Check out peak property management for a range of options both in town and on the mountain.

Rentals

Airbnb & VRBO

There are many VRBO and Airbnb options available in the town of Crested Butte or in Mount Crested Butte. These two towns act like one and are 10 minutes apart.

We personally love staying in town.

Traveling Around Town

Whether you decide to stay in town or on the mountain you don't have to worry about driving between the two. There is a free town shuttle every 20 minutes from 7:35 am to midnight every day.

Coffee

Camp 4 Coffee

This quintessential cabin is our favorite spot to grab a morning coffee when we're strolling streets downtown Crested Butte.

Where to Eat

Sunflower

Hands down one of our favorite spots for breakfast or dinner. This is a communal kitchen and operated by different restaurants for breakfast and dinner. The food is amazing and the restaurant cozy. You'll want reservations!

Slogar

Slogar is a staple for any of David's visits to Crested Butte. This long-time family-owned establishment gives you all the feel of a mountain town experience. Don't expect to have many options here, family style fried chicken dinner is what's for dinner. Go hungry!

Secret Stash

A trip to Crested Butte generally involves a stop at Secret Stash. This casual pizza spot offers something for everyone - but doesn't take reservations, so show up with time for a drink at the bar while you wait for your table. Pro tip: don't miss the crack fries or chicken wings.

Elk Ave Prime

Great option for a delicious and more formal meal (well, as formal as a mountain town gets).

Izzy's

Hidden of main street this small eatery offers breakfast latkes anyway you can imagine them. If it's busy you can call-in or place your order and walk around town while they cook.

Teocalli

Don't overlook this casual eatery on Elk Ave (Crested Butte's main street). Great for a quick bite, whether you choose tacos or a burrito you won't go wrong. Their margaritas aren't bad either!

Public House

We love this little tavern. Great for a quick bite or a pint after a long drive or hike.

Uley's Cabin

If you find yourself up on the mountain and enjoying the scenery plan to stop in for lunch at Uley's Cabin. This has become a favorite for David and I (particularly during ski season).

Where to Drink

Montanya

A local rum distillery, great for a cocktail or two ;) Be warned only rum drinks are served here but they are seriously delicious and you should go here.

Babysitting

Crested Butte Babysitters

In case you are looking for help with your little one(s) this weekend, here's a website for local sitters. Put in  any requests early, it's bound to be busy the holiday weekend!

Kids are welcome at all events, but we'd hate to lose you to an early departure because of your babe.  [Optional] Group sitting available, contact Camilla for details.
