We have 3 hotels to recommend for room reservations but these are just suggestions. There are many other possible places to stay during our wedding weekend. Traverse City has an abundance of hotel options, houses and condos/apartments on airbnb/VRBO as well as camping options in the area. Please let us know if you have any questions regarding location of any accommodations that you are looking into.

Recently renovated, West Bay Beach is located lakefront on the west Grand Traverse Bay with an indoor and outdoor pool as well as a restaurant/bar on site. It is within walking distance to downtown Traverse City.

The Bayshore Resorts sits off of the western arm of the Grand Traverse Bay. It offers beach access, a pool, and most rooms feature a private balcony or patio with views of the bay. It also has a shuttle that makes stops in downtown Traverse City that is included as a part of the resort. It is 16 minutes from our wedding venue.

Please mention the McCollum/Simpson wedding when making a reservation and receive the special rate of $209/night for a standard room with a 2 night minimum, $219/night for an eastside room with a 2 night minimum, or $249/night for a bayfront room with a 2 night minimum.

Completely renovated in 2015, the Brio Beach Inn offers 150 feet of private access on Grand Traverse Bay. You can relax on a chaise lounger by the water or rent a jet ski next door to explore the shore. There are outdoor grills, a fire pit, and 7,500 square feet of sandy shoreline. This is the most modestly price room block that we have and it is 19 minutes from our wedding venue.
