Where to Eat

Now, on to our favorite part: Where to eat? Trust me, we've spent a lot of time searching for places to eat and eating, and these are some of the best.

La Fonda de la Calle Real: First time trying Guatemalan food? This is the place to start.

Casa Escobar: Steak steak steak.

Angie Angie: Great pizza and they often have live music at night.

Saul: Hip place with good food at any time of the day, great coffee.

Caoba Farms: Essentially eating in a greenhouse, best farm to table, locally grown food, great for brunching.

7 Caldos: 7 traditional Guatemalan dishes in one place

Santo Spirito: Super hip place with great food

Hectors: great steak with blue cheese

Fridas: Mexican food in a very central location

Kumbo Ramen! Best ramen in town

Finca Filadelfia: coffee farm with great breakfast but a bit outside of Antigua

Where to Drink

Artista de Café: Hands down best coffee shop in the world. Wifi, great atmosphere, super sweet humans.

Wine Bar Under the Arch: We are not even sure what it's called, but you won't miss it. Tiny wine bar under the arch.

Antigua Cerveza - el bosque: brewery in the middle of a coffee farm in the middle of town

Cervecería Catorce: super chill place to spend an afternoon, good food and good drinks (outside of Antigua - probably tuc tuc or Uber over)
