Whether you’re flying into the region or venturing on a road trip, Telluride offers a unique journey marked with unmatched scenery, heritage and charm.

The Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ) is the primary airport for Telluride, and is a scenic 65 miles away. During the summer months, guests can take advantage of nonstop flights from 5 major U.S. cities. Several transportation companies provide service from Telluride to Montrose. Rental cars are also available at the Montrose Airport, but we recommend the ground transportation option as once you arrive in Telluride a car is unnecessary.

Direct flights to the Telluride Regional Airport (TEX) are available on Boutique Air from Denver (DEN). Boutique Air partners with United Airlines, which enables travelers to book and connect through the global United network. The Telluride Airport is also open to general aviation, including charter and private planes. All major charter companies serve the airport, and links to several options are available here. Rental cars are available at the Telluride Airport.

Kayak.com is a great website for finding flights at the best price. They also allow you to set up price alerts. Click here to set your own price alerts. You must be logged in and go to your “watchlist” where you can set your flight alert to notify you when it’s a good time to purchase tickets.

The Peaks Resort & Spa is the beautiful mountain resort we have chosen to house our wedding guests. Located a short walk from the Telluride Mountain Village Gondola, The Peaks Resort & Spa offers warm, welcoming hospitality, a wide selection of comfortable rooms, suites & penthouses and an unmatched collection of onsite amenities.

The full experience at The Peaks Resort includes the ALTEZZA Restaurant, fitness center with numerous classes, indoor/outdoor pool and lap pool, full-service Spa and salon, as well as spectacular views of the surrounding San Juan Mountains.

We have contracted a block of rooms at The Peaks Resort & Spa at a discounted room rate for all of our wedding guests. This special rate allows you to make, cancel or change your reservations up until June 17, 2019. The rate will remain the same no matter how high the hotel rates are online. We contracted these rooms to ensure our guests receive the lowest room rate possible with additional amenities. It is very important that you book your room under our block to ensure we have a way to track all of our guests staying at the hotel so that we can keep you updated with logistics and any important information throughout the wedding.

ROOM RATES
The following rates under our room block are available for the nights of Thursday, July 18 , Friday, July 19, Saturday, July 20, Sunday, July 21 and Monday, July 22. Based on the hotel’s availability they will offer the same room rate to guests booking under our block 3 days before (July 15) and 3 days after (July 25). We encourage everyone to book their room as soon as they know their travel dates, especially if you plan to stay before Thursday and/or after Monday to ensure your room is secured at our discounted rate.

Please take special note: One night room and tax will be required when booking that is refundable up until 30 days prior to your arrival date.

Discounted Room Rates
● Alpine Vista | One King = $225 per night plus tax & resort fee
● Alpine Vista | Two King = $271 per night plus tax & resort fee
● Sunset Vista | One King = $295 per night plus tax & resort fee
● Sunset Vista | Two King = $319 per night plus tax & resort fee

Note that primary difference between the Alpine and Sunset Vista rooms are the views. Sunset vista rooms look out towards the mountains while the Alpine are on the backside of the hotel.

*If there is a different room type at the resort that you would like to book that is not listed above please make sure you still book under our block, as they will give you the best discount available on the room and will still keep you under our block for wedding planning purposes.

Additional Costs at the Peaks Resort & Spa
● Discounted Resort Fee | $15 per room, per day which includes internet in your room and throughout the hotel, in-room water, local and long distance and international telephone calls, daily membership to the spa (locker room, gym, sauna, steam room, hot tubs, indoor lap pool, spa lounge)
● Valet Parking | A $24 per car, per day. There is overnight parking in Mountain Village however, it is a walk from the hotel and costs $25.

You can click hereto book your room online. Or you can call (888) 463 0973 directly and reference the Jensen-Howard Wedding Room Block in order to get the discounted rate. Guests will be responsible to guarantee their reservations with a major credit card at the time of booking and a deposit of one night’s room and tax will be charged to the card at the time of booking. The deposit is refundable up until 30 days prior of your arrival.

ADDITIONAL GUESTROOM INFORMATION
● Check-in time is 4:00 pm. Every effort is made to accommodate guests arriving before check-in time, however, rooms may not be immediately available. Check-out time is 12:00 noon. Requests to retain rooms beyond that hour should be directed to the Front Desk once the guest is registered. Should it be possible to extend a late check-out, a late departure charge may be applicable.

The free gondola is the most convenient and scenic way to travel between Telluride and Mountain Village. In-town transportation is also available in both communities.

Transportation within Telluride:
Free Galloping Goose shuttle buses run every 20 minutes between 7 a.m. and midnight daily. Stops are located every few blocks.

Transportation within Mountain Village:
Free shuttles run throughout Mountain Village every half hour.

Dial-A-Ride is available daily to guests in Mountain Village between 7 a.m. and 12 a.m. during summer and winter. Call 970.728.8888 for information or visit the town's website.

Parking is available in both Telluride and Mountain Village.
We encourage guests to park and take advantage of the free gondola to travel between the two towns.

Parking Options In Telluride
● Find free daytime parking in the Carhenge Lot, just off West Pacific Avenue at the west end of Telluride, near the base of Lift 7 and at the south end of Mahoney Drive (no overnight parking). View on Map
● Some side streets allow free two-hour parking.
● In Telluride's historic downtown, solar-powered parking meters stand mid-block on main and side streets. One dollar per hour, with a three-hour max. The meters accept credit cards, coins, or parking tokens. Parking limits are enforced (Telluride Marshal's Department, 970.728.3818) 8am-6pm, Monday-Saturday. Parking is free on Sundays and holidays.

Parking Options In Mountain Village
● Parking is available for FREE and $25 overnight in the Gondola Parking Garage, payable by Parkmobile app, debit or credit card.
● Paid parking is also available at the Heritage Parking Garage below Madeline Hotel and Residences (west of hotel off Mountain Village Boulevard), $2 per hour thereafter; $35 maximum for each 24-hour period. Payabe by Parkmobile app, debit or credit card only.
● Parking at the Town Hall Plaza parking lot is free, with a one-hour limit; no overnight parking is allowed.
● There is also free day parking in the Meadows Run Parking Lot, located at the end of Adams Ranch Road. There is no overnight parking without a valid permit.
● Parking at North and South Village Center lots is $2 per hour. Payable by Parkmobile app, debit or credit card only. No overnight parking is allowed.

If you are bringing along children with you to Telluride that are under the age of 13, Telluride Sitters is a local babysitting service we recommend. Please note that all wedding events are adults only but the pre-wedding events are all kid friendly.

BABYSITTING CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations within 24 hours are assessed a $75.00 fee. Cancellations less than 4 hours before initial booking will pay the full sitting times initially booked. Please try and book 48 hours in advance. Same day reservations may incur elevated pricing. Rates are subject to change at any time.

SICK CHILD POLICY
We do NOT care for sick children and reserve the right to end the service in the event a child becomes sick, while in our care.
