[English] Hallstatt is a fairytale Austrian village. We recommend spending one day in Hallstatt. While it won’t take you more than an hour to walk briskly from one end to the other, you’d want to take your time taking in the photogenic houses, checking out the souvenir shops, indulge in Austria's cuisine and strolling along the lively boardwalk.

[English] Take the cable car up to the Dachstein Glacier and explore the 5fingers platform. This is probably the most spectacular viewing platform in the Alps. On the way down, make sure to visit the giant ice cave (reservation needed!). The guided cave tour will whisk you away into the fantastic under world of the Dachstein.

[English] Just as the picturesque views draw visitors to the lakeside town of Hallstatt, the spectacular vista of the Dachstein Glacier rising behind the mountain lake helps to solidify Gosau as one of the top travel destinations in the Salzkammergut. There are great hikes for beginners as well as for advanced mountaineers!

[English] Salzwelten, Hallstatt’s UNESCO-recognized salt mines, date to prehistoric times, possibly even to 4000 B.C. Visitors can take a guided tour of the mine, accessible by cable car. Once you arrive, you’ll explore the way a traditional miner would—donning a jumpsuit and using wooden slides to access different levels.

[English] The Epic Bikepark Leogang is one of the most renowned bike parks in Europe. In 2020, the Riders Playground, a 10,000 m² practice area, was expanded with numerous new attractions. The Hot Shots fired by GoPro was converted into a massive jumpline and the 5,000 m² asphalt World Champs Pumptrack with jump and dirtline has become an actual "get together" venue with a real fun factor.
