Rewind back to the year 2013...
Andrea and bridesmaid Marissa were glued at the hip BFF's. One day Andrea comes to find out Marissa's cousin from New Mexico is moving to Indiana and plans to stay with her at her dad's. Excited for a new friend, she patiently waited for his arrival. Andrea and Estefan were complete opposites; he was quiet and shy and she was outgoing and loud. And even though Andrea was taken at the time, it was no secret that Estefan was experiencing love at first sight. The two peas in a pod had just become a trio and even though poor Estefan was friend zoned, didn't stop them from becoming best friends.
There was a short while in 2015 when Andrea gave dating Estefan a shot. But too scared to ruin their friendship and loose the family she had gained over the years, she decided to break things off before they were too serious. A few months go by of continuous texting she never grew tired of. And there were a lot of late night hangouts involving ice cream trips and long drives listening to each other's favorite music. As time went on there were fewer and fewer trio adventures and more excursions just involving the two new amigos. Andrea tried to continue to date, but she couldn't deny her feelings for him. Knowing Estefan wouldn't ask her again, out of fear of rejection, on January 18th, 2016 she asked him back out; to which he happily accepted!
I guess one could say the rest is history. Since then they have gone on many trips to visit and/or meet family and friends out of state, gone to many concerts, traveled to a few music festivals, celebrated birthdays, holidays, and graduations together; making many new memories along the way.
They have also experienced a lot of firsts together such as their first long separation from each other during the beginning and confusing time of COVID, first big arguments, buying their first home together, and becoming puppy parents to little miss Daisy.
Now their love brings them to Jamaica to commit their lives to each other. They are ready for the new chapters of life headed their way and excited to experience more firsts together.
