Our stories will be different, that’s for sure! I knew the first time I saw Tiffany, I knew I had to have her. I was DJ-ing a probate show and she was one of the new members in her organization in the Spring of 2011, and when I tell you I went months without her seeing her, it was like she disappeared off the face of the earth. So of course like any smart man, I went to social media to find this girl. I was in a BGLO as well so adding new members was my excuse to you know, “FIND” her lol. I remember going to Target on Fletcher for who knows what, and soon as I walked in the doors, there she was in the front where all the cheap stuff be at. Being with her for this long I find myself gravitating towards where the cheap stuff is at because it’s some gems there.
Back to the story, I had to apply pressure, and unfortunately it was a fail. She wanted me but had a boyfriend at the time so, you know the saying “Don’t let your boyfriend stop you from finding your husband”. We stayed in contact over the years, always dropping the “Happy Founders Day” DM annually on twitter like my life depended on it. My persistence paid off and by the Fall of 2014, I was with the woman that I could never stop thinking of. She changed my life, supports me in all my crazy endeavors, and as much as I have been through in my life, one thing is for certain, I was ready more than ever to make her my forever.
This story will be totally different from Jamaal’s version I’m sure. I remember meeting him heading to a Founders day event in the Marshall center in 2011, I was of course running late and off to the side I saw him. He was chilling on the “black carpet” on his MacBook. He stopped me and wished me a happy founders day. If anyone knows Jamaal he is very observant & to himself so it spoke volumes to have him stop me and chat briefly. That was our first actual conversation before we went years where he would never miss wishing me a happy charter day or founders day on Twitter. It was a small way we stayed connected while letting me know he was interested in me. Jamaal was persistent and tried multiple times in college to try to get to know me better beyond the casual DMs but I wasn’t having it! He worked hard for my attention and then finally I gave love a chance with him in 2014. We have built a beautiful life & family together and I can’t wait to do forever with him.

Jamaal told Tiffany that they were invited to a surprise all white birthday brunch. Jamaal sent her outfit options and told her to pick one and he would order it for her, which should’ve been a dead giveaway something was up but she was clueless. If anyone knows Tiffany personally she has to know every detail of everything!! She was aware that his friend was a Virgo and always went all out for his birthday so she thought nothing of it other than they were going to a party.
Jamaal strategically planned & hid a 30th birthday party in Tiffany’s honor. Not only did Jamaal execute the party beautifully he hosted the party on the anniversary of Tiffany’s mother’s death. He wanted to turn a dark day into something beautiful for her. Little did Tiffany know the party wasn’t the only surprise, he got on one knee and gave her the best birthday gift of asking her to marry him.
