An unexpected Facebook message lead to a 12 year love story
Warneka and Troy had their first date at Red Lobster in White Marsh in 2010.
Although, Warneka noticed Troy before (he’s the older brother of a middle school classmate).It wasn’t until years later that she would randomly walk into McDonald’s where Troy was working at the time and caught him staring. Warneka will tell you he was staring at her like a scene out of a movie. Shortly after that encounter Troy sent Warneka a FaceBook message and so it began!
Taking a few breaks over the years Troy and Warneka always found their way back to one another.
Warneka the silly, Suzy homemaker and Troy the hardworking trucking tycoon balance each other out.
In November of 2020, after Warneka told Troy that she would not be going to the families house for Thanksgiving, Troy gave up the surprise and got down on one knee and proposed in the couples bedroom, the only audience was their daughter Tory! Warneka said yes of course!
