Vee and Jade first met at a joll in town, where Vicente caught Jades eye. There after Jade found out that Vee was a personal trainer and needed someone to train her to get in shape for Vac 2015. Vee trained Jade for a while and as time passed, there was more and more flirting, spending time together outside of the gym and going out together to braai's and parties together.

Vee decided it was time to make Jade his girlfriend, not by asking her out but just making it Facebook official. After a few questions from the girls and a very confused ‘girlfriend’, he invited Jade over for a coffee where he had flowers and chocolates waiting with a card asking her to be his girlfriend.
Vee and Jade have been together just over 6 years, they have been living together for 3 and a half years. They love to go on adventures together, from romantic holidays to drunk holidays with friends. Skydiving, ziplining, surfing, sandboarding, supping and horse riding on the beach are some of the adventures that they have been on together over the years.

Vee surprised Jade at Zloofzicht Hotel down by the dam. She was blind folded by her mom and walked down to the location. Jade was handed the card she was given when Vee asked her out in 2016, where he changed will you be my girlfriend to will you be my wife . She turned around and saw Vee and this is when he asked her to marry him. Vee had organized for the friends and family to be there to watch their most magical day. He went above and beyond to make Jades day special.
