If you're in town and would like to visit us before the wedding we would love to see you! Join us for a day of fun in the sun on the private beach at Hotel Ghiffa.
This is a casual event so please come and go as you like.
If you are not a guest at Hotel Ghiffa, you may still access the pool and beach just let reception know you're with the Etter / Hafeez group.
Join us for a casual evening across the lake. We've made arrangements at La Rampolina in Campino for a traditional Piedmont dinner.
Piedmont is a region celebrated for its beef, risotto, truffles and cheeses. If you have any dietary restrictions, please contact Melissa or Uzair so we can accommodate!
Our intimate ceremony will take place on the beach of Hotel Ghiffa. An aperitif and dinner will immediately follow the ceremony.
Can I RSVP online? Yes, please RSVP to our ceremony and reception on this website.
What time should I arrive at the ceremony? 4:30pm - the ceremony will start at 5pm!
What hotel do you recommend staying at? Our ceremony and reception will take place at Hotel Ghiffa. Check out the "Travel & Stay" tab for more information on booking accommodations.
What will the weather be like this time of year? Generally, Lake Maggiore usually sees sunshine with a high of 75, low of 55 during this time of year. We will manifest perfect weather, but it is unpredictable. If the sun is a bit much, umbrellas will be placed on the ceremony grounds. In the event of rain, we will move the ceremony and reception indoors. In any event, we recommend bringing a light layer as the evenings tend to get chilly.
Can I take photos or videos during the ceremony? We kindly ask that you turn off your phones during our ceremony and be present with us in this special moment. There will be plenty of time to take photos and videos during the reception and the photos taken by our amazing photographer will be shared with you all in the future.
Is parking available? Yes, Hotel Ghiffa offers free parking on site.
Not ready for the night to end? Meet us at the dock to hop aboard the after party boat.
The boat will return to Hotel Ghiffa.
Where will the boat depart?
The boat will depart from the docks at Hotel Ghiffa at 11:30pm.
Can I change my clothes before we board?
Absolutely, wear what makes you comfortable! We recommend at least a change of shoes if you are wearing heels to our ceremony and reception. You may also want a jacket if it gets chilly on the water.
Will there be food and drink?
Yes, we will have an open bar, non-alcoholic beverages and of course late night snacks.
