Attire for the Wedding Ceremony & Reception

Semi-Formal Beach Wear

Semi-formal beach wedding attire is a dress code that requires a balance between elegance and comfort. For the men, this usually means wearing a suit or button-down shirt and slacks, with or without a jacket or vest. Ties are optional. For women, this usually means wearing a cocktail dress, a tea-length dress, or a maxi dress in solid or bright colors. A dressy flat sandal would be best since the ceremony will take place on the sand.

FAQs

Important information to know

1. Can I bring my children? Although we love the kids, this will be an adults only ceremony and reception. The resort is also adults only.

2. Can I bring a plus one to the wedding? Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate a plus one unless you are married or in a serious relationship with someone we know. However, you are welcome to travel with whoever you would like and they can enjoy the resort and all the activities on the resort, but will not be able to attend the wedding.

3. Do I need a passport? ABSOLUTELY! Please start working on that now.

4. Do I have to pay for anything else once I get to the resort? This is an all-inclusive resort. Which means...nope there's nothing else for you to pay unless you want to purchase souvenirs, or get a massage, or something extra.

5. What do I need to pack? Check out this link. www.puntacanaadventures.com/what-to-pack-for-punta-cana/

6. Is there transportation from the airport to the hotel? Please contact our travel agent, Chericka Johnson, to arrange your airport transfer.

7. What days should I travel? You can travel anytime between Wednesday 5/22/24 through Monday 5/27/2024, for 3 to 4 days. If other days are preferable, please contact the travel agent, Chericka, directly.

8. Does Dominican Republic have specific travel requirements? Per the Dominican Republic Travel website, the only requirement is: that: "All foreign and Dominican passengers entering or departing the Dominican Republic on commercial flights must complete the free electronic entry and exit form at: eticket.migracion.gob.do It is no longer required to fill it out 72 hours prior to the trip. It can be filled out as soon as you have your flight information, even months in advance. However, it must be filled out before arriving at the airline counter at the airport, as it is required to present it to the airline. To avoid delays at the airport, it is advised to complete the form before the trip. If your specific home city is not shown in the form, you can choose the nearest large city in your state or province. If you are staying at a vacation rental, please ask the host to provide the complete address, including province, municipality and sector."

9. Can I use my phone/camera to take photos during the wedding ceremony? Yes, please! We would love to see all our candid photos. However, please be mindful of our photographer & videographer. When posting, please use the hashtag #FordEverAfter
