Flights out of Tijuana, Mexico are often inexpensive. To fly out of Tijuana, we recommended using CBX, a pedestrian bridge in San Diego that allows you to enter from the US, go through customs, and enter the Tijuana airport. Using the bridge costs $30 roundtrip. Please give yourself ample time prior to your flight! We recommend 3 hours.
Getting to Antigua from the airport
Once we have a better idea of when people are arriving, we will arrange a few private shuttles.
You can also book your own a private shuttle through Antigua Tours. This is a reliable company that is familiar with providing transportation for large groups, particularly for weddings. I was planning on using them when my parents came to visit (but then missed their flight). Antigua Tours was very responsive and even refunded me for an expensive tour that was occurring the next day.
Uber is readily available and reliable as well.
Once you are in the city of Antigua, you can take Uber or tuk tuks as needed. The city is very walkable. It only takes 25 min or so to walk across the entire town.
