République, located in Miracle Mile, is owned by Chefs Walter and Margarita Manzke. Centered in the heart of Los Angeles, the historic building in which it resides was originally erected in 1929 by Charlie Chaplin, and later transformed into the iconic La Brea Bakery and Campanile Restaurant. République builds on this storied past, offering a gastronomic environment imbued with history and grandeur. The space features a casual bakery, café, and bar in the front with a more formal dining area located in the rear, serving a French-inspired menu created daily by our chefs.

Strings of Life Cafe

S.O.L  (aka Strings of Life) is an all day cafe by the botanical group. it reflects the coffee & food culture of Melbourne, Australia where the founders are from. the menu was created by botanical culinary director monty Koludrovic in collaboration with pastry chef Jaci Koludrovic & head chef Jordan Mathurin. the coffee program was developed in partnership with common room roasters to create our signature s.o.l. blend.

The Tower Bar is the chicest and most welcoming room in town, with a fireplace and discreet niche seating for privacy. Housed in Bugsy Siegel's former apartment on the ground floor and connected to the newly expanded Terrace Bar- the experience is elegantly choreographed by Maitre D' Gabé Doppelt.
