Ashley and Lynn met in graduate school in InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. Gravitating towards each other as the new kids, they found joy in adventures throughout California, hosting cookouts in the dorms and eventually being roommates. Once school ended, Lynn and Ashley also enjoyed traveling including an epic Texas road trip to the state fair and Aggie yell practice. Supporting each other in faith, these two continued to point each other to Christ and lift each other in prayer. Ashley has been a guardian angel through the most critical times and a dear sister every day.
A lifelong friend and sister, Lynn and Noreen met when they were in 6th grade and it has been an amazing 25 years since. These girls kept up over visits across the country to follow each in their ever moving life from Philly, DC, Michigan, Oklahoma and Utah with trips to Vermont, Chicago, and Atlanta in between. Noreen's friendship has been a sustaining touchstone for Lynn and a rock in the storms of life.
Abbey and Lynn met in a Life.Church small group and became roommates soon after. Abbey's joy and energy kept every day exciting during their Tulsa time. These girls explored Colorado and loved their version of hiking which includes enjoying the journey with no destination. Abbey brings reflection and thoughtfulness to a great friendship of fun and laughter.
Renee and Lynn met in Rooted, a bible study through Fellowship Bible Church, Lynn's very first day in Topeka! She has been the hostess of the group, welcoming in all the women to friendship and family for three years now. Her generosity and intentionality has made her a great friend and support in this Topeka life Tim and Lynn are building together.
My brother of 43 years. He has seen me through the good times and bad. We have done many family trips together like going to Israel. His family has always welcome me into their home. He is always someone I can talk too whenever I need advice.
Tim met him at the Leavenworth Church of the Nazarene when were in 5th grade. We participated in Caravan's where we were very competitive on seeing who can earned the most badges. Graduated the same year, but went to different high schools. Tim's so glad he can make it up from Texas for the wedding.
Tim met him in Wichita, KS through his dad. His Dad was renting out a room and I became his roommate and good friend. We have done so many things together from hosting parties at our place to going on trips to seeing concerts. Everyday was an adventure.
Tim met him in 2015 at Goodyear where we were co-workers on second shift in the component prep department. He was one of my mentors and really show me the ropes on how to be a good worker. We both like military history movies since both of our dads served in the armed forces. I am honored to have Gary as a groomsman.
