Once upon a time in a magical place named Lincoln-Way Central, Tim and Alyssa first met near a water fountain during a passing period at school. The two quickly became close friends. After about a year and a half, their friendship grew to a young love... which is where the story begins.
Tim and Alyssa became high school sweet-hearts at the age of 16. They made the most of their last year and a half of high school. Spending special moments together, such as prom and graduation were just a couple of the high lights from that exciting time in their lives.
The two then made the hard decision to go to separate colleges, where they would both study nursing. Throughout their years at college, Tim and Alyssa's relationship grew from young love, to a love that could withstand some of the hardest of times. They each realized throughout those college years, that they were truly meant to be with one another.
By May 2017, the two love birds accomplished an amazing mile stone together. They each graduated from their college with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. It was such a special moment in their lives to celebrate as they were now entering the real world together.
In February of 2019, Tim and Alyssa moved their relationship to a new and exciting stage. They moved into their first apartment together in Chicago, Illinois. This decision was both nerve-wracking and exhilarating at the same time. They were both so excited to begin this journey of their lives together.
During their time downtown they were growing into the young and mature adults they knew they had the potential of being. Throughout their time in Chicago, Alyssa realized that without a shadow of a doubt Tim was the man she was going to marry one day. She knew deep down that there would be the most perfect time, and this was not yet it.
The story brings us to September 2020, when the couple turned into a trio. Tim and Alyssa adopted their Goldendoodle Dugan. It was love at first sight as they welcomed their four-legged son home. Their commitment and love for each other strengthened as they raised their new pup together.
After nearly ten years of dating one another, Tim proposed to Alyssa during a Florida sunset in Key West. It was the most perfect moment that the couple had waited so long for. They were able to celebrate their engagement in the breath-taking Costa Rica. Celebrating their love and engagement in a beautiful country was the best way to soak in all the emotion they both were experiencing that week.
Now... their love brings them to Dominican Republic. Where they will commit their lives to one another in front of their closest friends and family. Tim and Alyssa have a peace in their hearts knowing they were be surrounded by love and happiness as they begin their lives together.
