Matron of Honor
Vanessa is my best friend of over 20 years, college roomie, and confidant. She's the friend I call while having a panic attack at 3am, the one who lovingly holds me accountable, the one who never passes judgement, and the one who has never folded. I couldn't be more thrilled to have her as my Matron of Honor!
Sontia
Maid of Honor
My little sister and biggest cheerleader! Sontia has always been a rock and is one of the most trustworthy people in my life. I am so blessed to have her as my Maid of Honor and to embark on the #walkingin2watkins journey with her by my side.

Leila
Bridesmaid
The Persian Princess, best known as “Lei”, literally the first friend I made in high school, my trusted spiritual and wellness advisor. Leila and I have been rocking out as best friends since 14-ish! She is definitely the nurturer of the group and anything she does in life is always with love and intention. Leila is a fierce protector, whether she knows you or not, and the kind of unconditional love she gives is the kind to be cherished!

Bestie of over 20 years, 4th member of the Banneker Best Friend Crew and COF (Chief of Fun)! No matter the occasion, Danielle is always the one to keep things light! She’s also that friend who always dishes out the bombest advice, takes our sides no matter what, and is one of the most compassionate, values-driven people I know. Love me some D!
Trina
Bridesmaid
Trina and I have been girlfriends since the 7th grade. From middle school to mid-30s, we are still going strong! Trina is one of the most laid back, yet caring people I know who has been loyal and devoted from Day 1!
Shanta
Bridesmaid
Shanta and I met through family and have spent the last 7+ years building an incredibly special and unwavering bond as girlfriends and sisters for life! As a fellow Real Housewife of Charles County, Shanta is THEE Class Connoisseur who always graces us with mystery, swag, and style!
Ciera
Bridesmaid
Ciera and I have known each other since middle school! She is the ultimate Goal-Getter and has always been an inspiration to me. She’s one of the most multi-faceted, talented women I know who has a heart of pure gold. I’m truly blessed to have her in my life and even more blessed to have her as part of my special day!
Montega
Bridesmaid
We go back since our DSU Hornet days! Montega was one of the first DC natives I met in undergrad and eventually became my roomie (Courtyard Building 1 Crew)! Best known for making people laugh to the point of literal stomach pain, Montega's personality and energy are magnetic. Her support and love for me have been consistent since college, and no matter how much time we spend apart, when we get together, it always feels like 2005!
Steve
Best Man

I've known Steve just about all my life - we go all the way back to 3rd grade at Kingsford Elementary! As my best friend and brother, Steve has always shown up for the big and small moments in my life and will go any distance to support those he loves. Since kids, we've experienced almost every life milestone together - from grade school to college, to starting our careers in law enforcement, to traveling the world, blood couldn't make us any closer - we are brothers for life!

Dwight
Best Man
Dwight and I crossed paths 15 years ago on a job and we've been brothers ever since! Throughout the years, Dwight has been there to support, mentor and coach me through different life transitions, always offering an encouraging word. I'm grateful to have him by my side as I embark on this next chapter of my life.
Quincy
Groomsman
I've literally known Quincy since he was born and throughout the years, have watched him grow into an amazing father and brother. He's always down for a good time and will bring the party to any situation!
David
Groomsman
They say your cousins are your first best friends and that couldn't be more true when it comes to my relationship with David. Growing up, my first cousin and I were practically connected at the hip, from tackle football to making music videos at Kings Dominion, we've always been more like brothers.
Romelo
Groomsman
Romelo, aka "Melo" is like a little brother to me and is just a lovable guy. Over the last few years, I've gotten to know Melo as a kind, dependable, caring person who will literally give a person in need the shirt off of his back. I'm honored to have him as a groomsman and look forward to further growing our friendship and brotherhood for many years to come!
Kelan
Groomsman
Kelan and I met almost 15 years ago in the police academy at the start of our careers with Metropolitan Police Department. Some time during this period, we discovered that we were both die hard Washington Football Team fans and have faithfully spent our Sunday, Monday, and Thursdays at FedEx Field as season ticket holders over the last several years. Since then, Kelan has introduced me to his life and family and has become a true brother.
Greg Crittendon
Groomsman
Greg and I met over 5 years ago during our time together as police officers in DC. Although, I've known him the least amount of time, I can stand on the fact that he's a genuine friend. Greg is trustworthy, dependable, and always has the backs of those he cares about.
Bryson
Groomsman
Bryce and I have known each other since high school, but bonded during our time together at Delaware State University. A man of many roles, he has been my confidant, mentor, and prayer warrior. As an exceptional father, husband, and son, my hope is to use his leadership as an example to be the same for my family.
Brandon
Groomsman
Brandon and I have been brothers since high school and he's been showing up for me ever since! Although sometimes the more laid back one in our circle, Brandon has always been the resourceful, dependable, and go with the flow brother. I couldn't imagine our brotherhood without Brandon in it and I'm honored to have him by my side on the #walkingin2watkins journey!
