One of our first vacations was a trip to San Diego for Monique's birthday where Casey won Monique's heart by taking her to feed giraffes. We named this one Henry.
To lift our spirits during Covid times, we took a trip to San Diego to swim with river otters. Otters have been marked safe from Covid.
We like to support the Dodgers! Especially when they compete against cheater-cheater-pumpkin-eaters.
We hightailed it down to Mexico for a real good time.
Casey rented an RV to see Bob Weir play a festival in Felton, CA, just outside Santa Cruz. Casey white-knuckled it the whole way home when Monique suggested they take the scenic route, which was winding and full of bicycle riders.
We saw John Mayer perform two nights in a row. A highlight was seeing him play the entire Continuum album.
Monique's family had a Christmas PJ party. They all fell in love with Casey when we showed up wearing matching Christmas PJs.
We dressed up to see a Black Sabbath tribute band. We looked good; concert sucked.
Monique knew Casey was the one after their first trip to Santa Barbara.
