Can I bring kids to the wedding?

As we are having a destination wedding, we understand many of you will be making it into a family holiday!!
We welcome kids to most of the wedding festivities, however, due to the intimate nature of our wedding day -(ceremony and reception) we do not have the space. We do hope you understand.
We will be making arrangements for a sitter whom parents are welcome to meet/greet with their kids prior to the events.
The sitter will be for the pre wedding cocktail hour, wedding ceremony and reception, so feel free to let loose, visit the kids then come back to the party! We hope that in having a sitter in close proximity, parents can enjoy themselves and still visit their kids as they wish.
We totally understand if you would prefer to take turns watching your kids for the adults only event, so please let us know on your RSVP whether it will be one or both parents attending.

Please note, we cannot make exceptions for this - we dont want anyone to feel that their kids weren't allowed but others were, so this is a blanket rule for anyone under the age of 18.

Can I bring a plus 1?

Due to the intimate nature of our venue and the limited number of spots available for the ceremony, we can only accommodate those who have been invited by name. On a case by case basis we can definitely reevaluate closer to the wedding date.

What should I wear to the wedding?

It is incredibly warm during the day, we dont expect guests to wear suits or ties, but please dress smart casual - think linen collard shirts, chinos short or long, and for girls cocktail!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony/post on social media?

You sure can! As long as your phone is on silent and you aren’t in the way of the photographer. You are also welcome to post any pictures of the wedding venue, decor, yourselves etc etc.

What kind of food will be served?

Wedding- Mediterranean Greek Cuisine !

Lots of GF, and vegetarian options will be available.
No vegans allowed at the wedding. (Jks, but sort of serious, you can’t come to Greece and not have feta, halloumi, squid or lamb!)

There are copious places to eat and drink on Agistri. Most places serve Mediterranean cuisine, however they also serve bakery food, burgers, chips etc.

Where are the nearest medical facilities?

We really hope everyone remains well and injury free, however for peace of mind there are a number of nurses and doctors attending the festivities! There is also a Medical Centre on the Island of Aegina which is a 15 minute boat ride away. For minor cuts, colds, flus etc there will be ample supplies on site. My dad is also a Doctor of Philosophy for those who may be going through an existential crisis/comedown feels.

When do I need to RSVP by?

As soon as possible would be ideal, however we totally understand the complexities of a destination wedding so would like to allow you the option of responding 'maybe' as an RSVP until Feb 2025. Please note that in responding maybe, we will notify people on our standby list that they may have a spot at the wedding. The sooner you can let us know, the better for all those involved :)
