Leon's

Another one of our faves!  They do fried chicken, oysters, lots of kick ass salads, cheap beer, soft serve, rosé on tap, frozen G&T’s, tons of grower champagne, and decent cocktails – all in an old garage.

698 King St, Charleston, SC 29403

Felix Cocktails et Cuisine

A Parisian-inspired cocktail bar and small plates restaurant, Felix has a lot going for it. With its metro vibe, marble bar, and intimate setting, it’s refined and easygoing. The menu features soupe à l’oignon and croque monsieurs alongside kirs, vespers, and more — all with the flair of today’s Paris.

550 King St #100, Charleston, SC 29403

Things to Do

The Charleston City Market

While some may say that the Charleston City Market is a bit of a tourist trap, others call it a great glimpse into life in the Old South. It has been a shopping hub since the 1800s and is one of the country’s oldest city markets. The market buzzes with residents and visitors alike, perusing stalls loaded with toys, clothes, art, leather goods and regional souvenirs.

188 Meeting St.

Casual Crabbing with Tia

One of our favorite adventures was learning how to crab with the one and only Tia!

Be sure to book in advance.

Tia's friendly, genuine, fun-loving nature and passion for her craft have garnered local and national media attention.

Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum

Patriots Point is one of the largest museums of its kind in the world. The museum gives visitors the chance to tour the aircraft carrier, USS Yorktown, along with a destroyer ship, and a submarine. Visitors can also visit the Vietnam Experience Exhibit and the Medal of Honor Museum.

40 Patriots Point Rd

Sullivan's Island

Sitting at the mouth of the Charleston harbor – a little less than 10 miles east of the downtown area – Sullivan's Island boasts beaches, tasty restaurants and unique shops, plus a colorful history.

Hampton Park

Created in 1903 on the upper west side of the Charleston peninsula, Hampton Park is the city’s largest park. The 61-acre green space boasts a bounty of ornamental gardens, walking and jogging trails, serene ponds—even a dog park.
