To welcome you to Franschhoek, we would like to host you at our pre-wedding dinner the night before our wedding.
Our dinner will be a casual evening, held at our wedding venue Vrede en Lust.
We hope you can join us, meet your fellow guests, sing Happy Birthday to Steven Mann and get ready for our big day!
Children are welcome at our pre-wedding dinner.

Pre-drinks in the Fountain Garden: 3:00pm (please feel free to arrive from 2:45pm)
Ceremony commencement: 3:15pm

Formal / Black-Tie optional
We are pulling out all the stops for our vineyard wedding and hope you will join us in dressing up for the day.
Ladies, don't let the dress code scare you away from colour! Your choices are the same as with black-tie: a floor-length gown, a fancy mid-length cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit to name a few.
Men, a tuxedo isn't required, but the event is still formal enough for one to be appropriate. Alternatively, a formal suit, with tie or pocket-square is perfect.
We respectfully ask no chinos be worn for the occasion.
Our wedding is respectfully an adult only event.
We have arranged on-site childcare for children whose parents are attending. Please let us know in your RSVP if you would also like to use this service.
For all guests not staying at Vrede en Lust, we will be running a complimentary bus from the centre of Franschhoek town to and from the wedding.
Please make sure you mark YES on your RSVP if you would like a seat.
Alternatively, parking is available at the venue for guests who wish to drive and park at Vrede en Lust. Please take the third left once you enter and park in the functions parking area.

Please RSVP your attendance to our wedding by 1 August 2023.
Please respect the names on the invitations are those catered for at the wedding.
Photography
We would ask all guests to please refrain from using their phones / cameras to take photos during our ceremony and other key moments such as the first dance. Our amazing group of photographers and videographers will catch our special moments with you in it!
We would also like to be the first ones sharing our special day with the world. We will share all our professional photos as soon as available.
We'd love to be able to spend as much time with you as possible while we are in South Africa.
If you feel up to it, please join us for a casual post-wedding recovery brunch at The Savoye at Vrede en Lust.
For guests staying with us at Vrede en Lust , the cost of this is included in your accommodation package.
For guests not staying at Vrede en Lust, the venue has requested you pay on arrival of R250.00 per person.
