Location

Beiteddine, Lebanon

People: Lebanese

Currency: USD or Lebanese Lira

Languages: Arabic, French and English

Airport: Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport

Venue

Mir Amin Palace

Once the residence of the last Emirs of Lebanon in the 19th century. Overlooking the Chouf mountains in Beitaddine, Lebanon. Opened as a hotel in the 1970s. Chouf is the district where Ray’s village is and Mir Amin Palace is where his parents, may they Rest In Peace, spent their honeymoon in 1975.

Getting to the venue:

The venue is 45 minutes to 1 hour away from the capital Beirut, depending on the traffic. You can take an Uber or cab from Beirut, which would cost around $50-70. A  cheaper option is to take a cab in Beirut to Cola Station and take the bus going towards Beiteddine. This total trip could cost less than $10 but takes longer as you might have to wait for the bus to leave and commute to the bus station.

We recommend staying the night of the wedding at one of the hotels nearby as the Chouf mountains are stunning.
