We have Bumble to thank for leading us to the perfect match when we both swiped right! Our first date took place at Stirling Tavern in Morristown, New Jersey spending hours sharing our love for the outdoors and bucket list adventures.
Stephen Clawson is originally from West Milford, NJ. He attended Salisbury University in Maryland. He is now an Account Sales Manager for ATRA Janitorial Supply Company and a part of an avid mountain biking community.
Victoria Saul is a Midwest girl, originally from Kokomo, IN (yes, like the Beach Boys song). She has now lived in Morristown, NJ for 4 years. She attended Indiana University and now works as a Program Manager for the United States Golf Association and greatly enjoys golf, hiking and photography.
For our third date, these two crazy kids went on a weekend road trip to Vermont to explore the beautiful Fall foliage. By the end of that weekend, it was pretty obvious that we had both fallen so head over heels that neither of us wanted the adventure to ever end! We have been practically inseparable ever since and embracing every moment of this life with a forever best friend.
One year after our first Vermont trip together, we returned to Stowe for more adventure. After completing a hike to Vermont's highest peak during the day, Stephen took Victoria to the Trapp Family Lodge (historic to The Sound of Music). We pulled up to a beautiful meadow and concert platform with that same mountain peak in the background. Stephen led Victoria by the hand upon the platform where he got down on one knee and the rest was history. Vermont forever holds a special place in our hearts.. between the hiking, beautiful foliage, quaint little towns, and eating all of the apple cider donuts, we hope to return to VT each year to continue creating new memories in this special place.
Stephen and Victoria currently live in Morristown, New Jersey. Our everyday life revolves around our 13 year old pup Phoebe (aka Puffers). Together, we take every chance we get to explore new places, hike with our trail pup, and eat blueberry muffins. We are very excited to get married in the mountains of Grand Teton National Park and share those views with all of our favorite people!
