Christine & Eric
August 17, 2019

Eric went to the University of Arizona with Christine's cousin (and now co-maid of honor!), Kimmi. When Eric moved back to Seattle, Kimmi introduced the two of us. We met for drinks for our first date. Christine was late (#typical) and Eric brought a friend on the date who sat at the bar the whole time (Christine didn't find out for 2 years!).
USC vs. Arizona
Mariners vs. AngelsSports is a huge part of our relationship, but we've learned to agree to disagree when it comes to teams. It's our tradition to go to the Mariners vs. Angels series every year. In four years, we've seen the Mariners win once :)
This is what most couples' engagement photos look like...right?
Christine's a bit old school and loves getting mail. So it all started on a Saturday in July with Eric getting the mail, but he'd slipped a letter into the pile. The letter started a day-long trip around the city to spots that were meaningful to us. At each spot was a mailbox with another letter. The last clue led to the roof of our building overlooking Puget Sound, where Eric got down on one knee and by that point, he didn't have to say much else. It was a day of happy (and very ugly) tears.
You all mean so much to us, and we can't wait to celebrate with you as we kick off this amazing adventure together!

Kerry and Christine have been friends as long as memory goes back. They grew up together in Irvine and lived together in Seattle. Fun fact: if you hear Kerry yelling Cindy at the wedding, she's talking about Christine.

Devon and Christine grew up 10 minutes apart, but never met until they joined the same sorority at USC. After that, the rest is history. Now 1,000 miles apart and still best of friends. (Ask Dev to show you her whipped cream party trick!)
