Event Details

We could not decide on whether we wanted to have a Catholic ceremony in a church or a personal ceremony (with our own vows, music, details, etc.) at Winterthur. So we decided to do both! 

Getting married in the Church is special and important to both of our families. However, we understand that isn't the case for everyone! So if your faith is important to you, and you would like to be there to witness our marriage in the Catholic church, you are welcome to join us. If not, or if you cannot make it, that is totally fine too! We hope to see you on Friday for our personal ceremony & reception. 

We are looking forward to our Catholic Ceremony and Welcome Party as an opportunity for us kick off the weekend celebrating our marriage with our family and friends!

After our Catholic ceremony, we will be hosting a Welcome Party at Hotel DuPont to celebrate and officially kick off the wedding weekend! 

We will be serving drinks and light hors d'oeuvres.

Please join us for the main event of the weekend!

6:30PM-7:00PM : Personal Ceremony - Sundial Garden**

7:00-8:00PM : Cocktail Hour - Reflecting Pool

8:00PM-11:30PM : Dinner & Dancing - Garden Tent

11:30PM-1:00AM : After Party - Garden Tent

Please arrive at 6:00PM to enjoy a ride through the gardens to the ceremony location.

When you arrive at the venue for the ceremony, there will be shuttles to transport you to the Sundial Garden on the Estate. To ensure all guests are transported to the ceremony location on time, please arrive at 6PM. 

Dress Code

We love a formal dress code & getting dressed up. We want you to feel like your fanciest & most glamourous self! Just keep in mind that our events are outside & it will be hot!

P.S. Ladies, there are areas with grass and cobblestone. So we recommend block heels or flats!

Event Details

For those who don't know, most Irish weddings have a second day of celebrations that is much more laidback & relaxed. It gives the bride and groom an opportunity to spend more time with their guests & continue the celebrations.

The Pool Party will be a continuation of the festivities for all who want to join! There will be live music, swimming, food, drinks, and more fun!

Please join us if you're able to! We think it will be a great time!
