New York City - June 17th, 2017
It all began in a bar called Tijuana Picnic...
Tara and her friends were standing near the bar waiting for their drinks. Meanwhile, Friedrich was dancing with his friends directly behind Tara, not realizing he was bumping into her as he moved his hips to the beat. After several butt bumps from Friedrich, Tara finally turned around to ask him for a little space. Friedrich quickly apologized, and then used the opportunity spark up a conversation with Tara.
After talking for a while, Friedrich asked Tara to dance. They danced for hours and spent the rest of their time at the bar together.
The night was finally coming to an end, and Friedrich was determined to find a way to see Tara again...
Before saying goodbye, Friedrich asked Tara to give him a keepsake from her purse so she would be forced to meet him another day. Tara reached into her purse, handed Friedrich a 'keepsake' (aka electronic wipes), and gave Friedrich her phone number.
One week later, Friedrich took Tara to Grand Banks for their first date and they have been together ever since!
