Walshy is Kevin's best friend and partner in crime.
I met Walshy during secondary school. We were both into music, festivals and general shenanigans. We grew up around a very close circle of friends and ended up living together in Waterford (Ireland) which was definitely a lot of fun. Following our graduating from Waterford Institute of Technology we backpacked around South America and after that we lived and worked in Australia. Walshy stayed in Ireland as I headed east and has come out to Asia on a few occasions for long and memorable stints. We are in contact every other day and trips home wouldn’t be the same without figuring out solutions to the worlds problems over a good Irish beef fillet
Garrett and Kevin have been friends since their teens.
I met Garrett while grinding handrails and curbs on the streets of Waterford. We were both skaters but he was always (and still is) into motorbikes, quads, gaming, electronic music so naturally I looked up to him (as I still do). Garrett was my trusted advisor during my adolescent years, I have shown up on his door step once or twice with relationship issues and was always welcomed with open arms . He has always taught me to dream big, enjoy live, try new things and not to things too seriously.
David is Kevin's only and older brother.
David is living in Dublin with his beautiful family. Throughout my life David has been (and still is) my role model. He has always pushed me to be better in my career and life in general. He has bailed me out of many a tough situation down through the years and has always welcomed me when I rock up on his doorstep. Since I have moved abroad David has come to visit me on in H on many occasions as well as in neutral venues across the world. I am at my happiest when I am discussing life with David in a random country while staring out over a sea, city, mountain or temple over a nice drink.
Javier is one of my best friends in Asia. He is from China but lives in Hong Kong.
We met through work. Javier was hired a fresh grad on my team Guangzhou (China) having just finished Uni in the UK. Javier came to Ireland In 2017 and spent a weekend (that he probably won’t forget) in Templebar, Dublin where he met my close friends and family - he even brought a tart for my parents. In 2018 I was invited to the North East of China to spend a Lunar New Year. Despite the -30degree weather I was warmly welcomed into his family home and was introduced giant Dailan see snails for the first time,
Hugo is the youngest of David's three sons. He's cheerful and full of energy and that's why we've given him the role of ring bearer for our wedding.
