Talor and Brad first met in Las Vegas on a friends trip in 2018 where they were the only two who hadn't met each other yet. They caught each other's attention while attending a Pitbull (Mr. Worldwide!) concert that evening, which ended up being their first date, ending at the fine establishment known as Shake Shack. After Vegas, Talor decided to give Brad a shot by planning a weekend trip from LA to Seattle. Fortunately, Brad planned one heck of a weekend for them including a ballgame, sailing, hiking, etc. and the rest is history.
For the next year and a half, Talor and Brad strengthened their relationship even through long distance, traveling frequently to see each other in their respective cities and abroad to Vietnam, Italy and Mexico.
After almost two years of long-distance, Talor finally made the move to Seattle, taking a job with Amazon. Within the first two weeks of moving up to the Pacific Northwest, the pandemic hit and they found themselves going from long-distance to quarantining together 24-7! Luckily it was a perfect match and they ended up buying and renovating a house during their first year of Covid. Their journey has been much more enjoyable because of the love and partnership they share.
Brad proposed to Talor during a trip to Key West, FL as it holds a special place in her heart from family trips and the beauty of the region. Even though Brad thought he was being smooth about the whole surprise, Talor knew something was up and when Brad proposed, revealing the ring on the coast all Talor could get out was "don't drop it! don't drop it!, making him ask twice before breathing a sigh of relief as he pointed out the photographer hidden in the bushes to capture the moment.
Due to travel and attendance restrictions over the last two years, Talor and Brad performed a small ceremony with immediate family to celebrate Talor's Jewish heritage in December 2021. While we may already be officially married, we cannot wait to celebrate with you at our wedding ceremony July 29th where Talor grew up - Bloomington, IL.
